1st Half. Very sloppy with nothing positive to write about other than Kane scoring twice. The poor selection resulted in a very poor and gutless performance. I believe players like Son were picked on last season's reputation rather than being on form.

2nd Half. No change of a very poor performance, comical at times. Still not enough composure all around. Nothing to write about. The only consolation is we didnt concede a late goal on this occasion Still very underwhelming. We need to up our game big time not to be humiliated by Barcelona, a game I am now not looking forward to. We have lost our mojo of the past three seasons.

Kane MOTM by virtue of his goals

If you are right what does that say about Huddersfield ? Back to the Championship sharpish ?

So true. Thought the same thing earlier. Having sat through the Match Thread, only having listened to the match, and then read the broadsheet write-ups, I wasn’t sure it was the same match!

Sadly the negativity of our fan base is getting in the way of being able to establish how the team actually played for those of us that weren't able to watch it.

Unless it's on sky I probably won't get to see the game and I've said so many times that a balanced view would be appreciated. Needless to say it's almost impossible to find that on Spurs Community these days. What a sorry state of affairs.

Absolutely no point taking the match thread and ratings thread seriously when you want to decent analysis.

Best thing is to watch the match after you record it so that you don't feel stress or anxiety during the game, much better

Bit confused. The first line of your reply seems to work as a reply to my post but the 2nd line definitely doesn't.

I agree that the match thread and ratings thread shouldn't be taken seriously when wanting decent analysis but I do think that's a shame. There's much negativity amongst our fans right now when there's really no need for it. The 3 links that @davidmatzdorf posted were a much better read than most of the posts in this thread.

The 2nd line (bolded) seems like it was meant for someone else.....?? In case it was meant for me, I'm talking about not being able to watch games that aren't live on tv so can't be recorded. I'd only be able to see them via a stream and most of the time I struggle to find any decent ones. I also have a 2 year old daughter that has no interest in allowing me to watch football in peace on a saturday afternoon. Either way I didn't mention anything about feeling stressed or anxious watching Spurs.

It's not meant to really, I just added what I do to evaluate a performance

Shows how hard Huddersfield worked tbf to them. Never gave us a moments peace. Although we weren’t great, I think part of it was Huddersfield just never gave us any time.

United = 59! :ROFLMAO:

Could even have reached 60 if Smalling had made a token gesture to prevent a fucking goal!
