VY in the "lets laugh at spurs thread" said they had a fight after the Liverpool game. So was more than rest/family stuff.

I have enough trouble keeping up with life, let alone every thread. I was putting it in the context that Toby become a dad, no way was he able to miss Liverpool due to Sanchez playing for Columbia, and was given time off. if I'd of seen that thread (never visited it I think) then would of known

Yeah, it was random I saw it as there was a new post on the side showing the thread so I clicked on it as I had never been there before or heard of the thread.

Now knocking you just giving you the heads up.

wide of the mark??? those 2 instances resulted in goals against...goals against is the only way you can lose.

Let's flip that and say Kane and Moura failed us. Kane's goal would have been 2-2 and Moura scoring his really good run would have been 3-2. But that's just plain ridiculous. There is the reason we didn't win. You have to out score the competition to win and we had chances.

We lost because we couldn't defend properly at a corner ,Aurier failed to stop a cross which led to a strike out of nowhere, and we have a weak keeper
I think it's very harsh to blame Aurier for the cross coming in when you look at the position and how far out the cross came from, you can equally blame one of the midfield players playing right side or centre.

My post wasn't aimed at blaming Aurier, my post was designed to take away the blame of poch's sub of Lamela -Winks

I was highlighting that there was, as you mention, many factors why we lost and one of them was Aurier's failure to close down the cross.

Like I said it's harsh, as you again highlight Auriers failure to close down the cross, it came from such a long way out imo it was more the job of a right mid or central player.
Any how we have a lot of areas to work on and right now it's not nice we need to blame someone, it is a collective.

For the record I thought Vorm had an overall good game compared to he's performance against Liverpool.

Also it seems a bit silly blaming players for conceding wonder goals, yeah I mean if you scrutinise goals to the nth degree I suppose you can point the finger but it's a bit pointless.

The fact is that we lost control of the game due to lot of factors in a match we were in control of when we went ahead if we did our jobs properly in the first place collectively we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Why does Dier keep seeing the field at any position other than CB? The guy is awful, has no passing awareness and useless turns on the ball. Tuesday night was the first time I've seen him actually run in over a season.
