Even first half where I thought we were too tentative and lacked composure

Better second half where there was more composure and better press, resulting to a fine goal by Eriksen.

Good tactic by Poch then take off a tiring Son for Moura where within a few minutes we could have had a couple more goals due to his speed and industry. The second change which was not sensible to take of Lamela, who was one of our better pressers and looked more likely to score.

But again we switched off giving them the opportunity to equalize and then score the winner. The story off our season so far as we dont know how to kill games. Watford game anyone?

Eriksen my MOTM although Aurier is worth a mention as he was up there as one of our better players

Absolutely unforgivable to lose this one. Classic Spurs to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. What the fuck is going on? Winning 3-0 at OT, and then being shit and losing three in a row, it doesn't get more spursy than that. Fuck me, it's a long time since I've felt this hopeless about Spurs

Eriksen good, and Aurier suprisingly good today as well. Vertonghen and Sanchez decent. Dier and Dembele didn't do much wrong, but wasn't put under much pressure. They didn't really do much good either. Davies a bit shaky, while Lamela worked and pressed hard. Never should have been subbed for Winks, who was pretty much useless. Son a bit anonymous, and Kane looking as tired as always this season...

Poch was master of our downfall, first taking Lamela off when we were winning, then taking Harry off (who is one of our best defensive players from set pieces).

Poch once again fails completely [in-game] tactically. The Winks / Lamela sub lost us the game.

We get MURDERED with this Winks Dier Dembele midfield. Two games in a row now.

Eriksen and Aurier both were good.

Almost there. I am getting used to it. Get back how I feel in Sherwood and late AVB's era.

Aurier, Eriksen and Lucas decent. Vorm did nothing wrong. Other players are as bad as Poch's subs (bar Lucas) and tactics. Levy is killing the club with lies.

Kane's race had been run for about 10 minutes, he was cooked. However the Lamela sub was indeed fucking bonkers.

Serge and Eriksen good. Davies and Dier piss poor, everyone else did ok. Poch again the biggest problem today though with his tactical ineptitude.

We looked very comfortable at 1-0 playing 4-2-3-1 then Winks on for Lamela and the change in shape was the difference. We simply looked uncomfortable gave up possession and invited pressure. No idea what is going on with him right now but his constant need to change things is causing us huge problems. I can understand shoring things up and seeing out the 1-0 but we were under no pressure at that point, none whatsoever. There was no need to switch to 3 CM's which we have already seen us fail to pull off on more than one occasion this season already.

It's so frustrating because I can not help but think that our main opponent was on our bench today. Pochettino talked so much about being brave, but today he was stupidly cowardly.

A Spurs supporting friend of mine is a sound engineer and I asked him to sum up how he felt about the last three games.

He said it's been testing (1-2), testing (1-2) and testing (1-2).

Anyway, Aurier gets my vote for the 90, although a couple of nice bits of play from Eriksen and Moura too.

Not his fault obviously, but Winks has been absolutely shocking since coming back from injury. Why rush him back when he’s clearly not ready?

Just about every player has massively gone off the boil, except Moura. Even Jan has been a bit wank. Poch needs to buck his ideas up, because his in-game management has been diabolical.

At least we’ve got this amazing squad that meant we didn’t need to refresh it at all during the window.

Mentally weak manager makes mentally weak pre match comments, picked a good side which deservedly lead, then made mentally weak decision to replace the mentally strong Lamela with the mentally weak Winks, culminating in a mentally weak final ten minutes including the mentally weak snatching of defeat from the jaws of victory.

Many pundits out there saying World cup is not an excuse to be tired but our last three games we have looked done by about 65 mins. Lamela off and Winks on and Kane off and Rose on. I dont understand these two subs. We lose our width and invite Inter on to us when they had already started pressing from the front.

That cow comment is really weird one.

Lucas, Lamela, Aurier did well say a lot of things about the post World Cup fitness.

Vorm -5 I think he's kinda dodgy to be honest . Doesn't command and has little presence

Aurier 9 motm - excellent all round

Vertonghen/Sanchez - 7 mostly handled Milan. But poor on winning goal

Davies- 2 total shite all game

Dembele 6- ok at times when it comes to holding possession but offers so little really
Dier 4 - bad stuff first half, improved in second but still so poor for midfield

Lamela -8 thought he was good, caused them many problems, could've/should've scored maybe but he adds much to our chance making

Eriksen -7 decent all round but faded. Got the important goal

Son- 5 barely remember him, obviously tired

Kane -3 usual non existent stuff of late and a bad miss

Subs

Winks -1 terrible sub from Poch, terrible. Lost all attacking drive and just ran about all over the pitch with no real role. Total headless chicken and offered nothing in attack, midfield or defence. Practically went down to 10 men

Moura- 7 exciting cameo, could've helped more defensively though

Rose - no time

Aurier played well imo, Kane had a better game than I expected given his form.

Davies woeful, dier poor rest average.

It's not a great footballing environment to come back into to be fair.

Inter was pressing us very good, but we were able to hold on and fight our way to a goal and to acquire control of the game. Then Pochetino completely fucks it up with his subs? WTF?

That Lamela sub was one of the biggest face palm moments I've had since Levy replaced AVB with Sherwood. Pochetino is making a mess of things, and at this rate I'm not sure if he will even last till the winter. It pains me to say it, but that's how I really feel right now.
