It wasnt pretty at times. But, when you have almost 0 central midfielders, first team.ones anyway, you can only do so much. When sissy went off I think my heart stopped. See above.

Genuinely hope he makes.a.swift recovery.

I didn't think we made enough of the counter attacking opportunities, Given the ridiculously high line they played at times. But, when you have no cm, you have limited options. Poch did what he could, although i'd have been more inclined to play skipp or foyth in the middle to make us more.like hard butter than warm margarine to slice through. Still, ground it out and off we go.

Saturday is going to be very, very tasty.

Oh and Pep, you're going to be in the semi final are you? Walker, did you 'have fun'?
Big man you make two amazing points.their line wasn't even in their half at times and we had zero mids left. Can't belive we won but don't think the lack of through balls was an error. We couldn't

We're in the semi finals of the CL. Now we need to get a favourable result / win in the league.

Everyone gets 49 out of 10.

Fucking yesssssssss

Did anyone else switch it off when sterling ‘scored’, go and kick the living shit out of their sofa shouting ‘ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS FUCKING CLEAR IT’ and then turn it back on a minute later to see it being reviewed by var? And then it was disallowed!!!! I didn’t even cheer, I was just literally trying to stay alive at that point.

Heroes.

Mate closed chrome, gave the computer table a beating it won't soon forget, scared the hell out of my daughter due to the aforementioned computer table incident, then came on here to have a group breakdown session with the other demoralised bredrins. Logged on to match chat and everyone was talking about eloping with VAR. I ain't Sherlock Holmes but I got the message. Got back to the match and managed to catch the last 30 seconds. Beautiful.

Thanks to all involved.

I hated every single minute of it.

COYS.

I’ve gone through a lot of underwear tonight.

Heroes.

Same here, still not convinced I succeeded.

Horrible performance and horrible game to watch, but all things considered with such a makeshift team you've got to be proud of all of them, even those who had a mare!

Tense and emotionally draining game to watch but horrible? Naa, it was entertaining as hell. This was like an Ossie Ardiles wet dream.

That was fucking lunacy.

This is what my heart rate monitor recorded today.
1)From 30minutes before the game.
2)To when city scored a 4th.
3)Measured over the match.

I think the mods need to do a roll call thread to make sure everyone’s still with us.

Really wouldn’t be surprised if we made a lot of changes Saturday

I think we’ll need to. We hardly touched the ball.

We didn’t play well but showed a few moments of quality and really dug in.

Proud of the character rather than the performance as such.

Very clear, as it was before, that we need to freshen the squad at FB and CM.

Be honest, how many of us had prepared big fat zero's for Tripps, Rose, Eriksen, Lloris even before everything un-folded as it did?

Me and my boys were proper cursing those 4, even Dele, and yet, somehow...........I'm still in shock.

We had the exact same problems last year at Wembley when we had Dier and Dembele in midfield, and in other games against them where we had our fully fit, first choice midfielders. It's the way the player are set up more than them not executing their jobs. We've always had these problems when teams put five players up against our back four.

Feels weird to say that, on a day we qualified for the CL semi finals, no one really deserved MOTM because we weren’t very good, there was an abundance of individual howlers and we probably deserved to lose by a wider margin than we did.

But none of that matters since the final goal was ruled out.

We won’t get away with that again any time soon.

Llorente my MOTM for smacking in the winner off his big sexy Latino hips. Shakira in disguise.

It was so much easier when we were crap. When we didn't win it was accepted as the norm, when we won it was great. Even against a Bolton or a Forest.

And we had a Ginola to brighten our day with random moments of joy, not like a Kane who gets us all hopped up on regular joy and then gets injured like he's some sort of human being the ****.

Don't care about the league game.

Not anymore.

Mate I want them to beat us in the league, and then win every game they have left. If the Dippers won the league it would take the sheen off our Champions league glory. Can't wait till May. Danny Rose lifting the Champions League. Gonna be awesome
