This was a hard one to lose as we didnt deserve to. Trippier's usual screw up should have been wiped away with the chances we created and but could not put pass an inspired DeGea.

I am sure DeGea would have saved the goal Lloris conceded

Anyone Pundit still maintain that Man Utd was the better side are delusional. The final result was down to two players, one from each team - Tripper and De Gea.

He had the job to hold our midfield together against Pogba and co, especially as Sissoko had to come off injured, so Winks is my MOTM

Cant be too disheartened by that performance, our finishing is never usually that poor. Our midfield was brilliant.

Lloris shouldve done better for their goal, it wasnt right in the corner and the angle was tight.

We were unlucky. 1st half was bollocks but second half we were by far the better team. Hard to pick a MOTM for me because none of them really stood out IMO but at the end of the day the only thing that let us down was the finishing

Winks was very good today, really stood up in the centre of the midfield. Toby was also really good particularly in the first half when they kept hitting the long balls, so calm.

We should have won that game very comfortably but for Kieran Trippier and some very poor finishing. Winks was immense today and definitely did not deserve to be on the losing team. I hate Wembley Stadium.

Aurier and KWP should question why Poch keeps picking Trippier despite him making key mistakes over and over.

Ashley Young isn't a good defender, Son and Davies not attacking his area and repeatedly cutting inside (usually into traffic) in the second half was awful.

The formation has to change with Sissoko (and Kane) being injured and Son not available.

Winks must be in the red zone now, Skipp has to get his fair share of minutes in the upcoming games.

Unsure on who our man of the match was but definitely know who as the worst. Trippier. Cost us the game with a suicidal square ball also gave the ball away a few other times and lots of arm pointing and not tracking runners.

A match where we had enough chances to win but didn't take them. Really P'ed off.

I'm not gonna do ratings as I can't be bothered but a few observations -

Tactically United were spot on in the first half with the split strikers exploiting the space behind our full backs

A lazy poor pass from Trippier, who is limited, opens us up for their goal

Winks is really one footed which I've never noticed before

Sissoko injury allowed Pogba the licence to run the game. They were physically superior to us in the middle of the park and we need another option in centre midfield

Lamela was poor when he came on and didn't look up to speed nor did he have his usual aggression. Missed Lucas off the bench today

Lindelof was excellent best I've seen him play

Still could have won the game had it not been for some top saves from their keeper

Winks best game for us, that chance he fluffed would have been icing, considering how stretched we are in midfield we needed him

Toby for me didn't put a foot wrong. Whole team did well second half I guess I'm a minority reading the match thread as I thought alli was really good in that half. Sissoko was good till he was injured also imo.

Toby probably MOTM for me, then Winks. The rest were all wasteful. Need to keep Kane well away from free kicks now. Trippier silly mistake and crossing was a bit shit.

Shows how far we’ve come that we have to be at our worst for profligacy for united to absolute steal a result from us. Desperately need reinforcements in midfield, Levy, Poch and the transfer committee need to stop being so fucking arrogant.

Lloris 7
Trippier 5 - Becoming a real liability.
Toby 7
Verts 7
Davies 6 - Offers nothing offensively.
Winks 7
Sissoko 7
Dele 7 - Missed 2 chances he'd normally bury
Eriksen 7 - Crap first half, excellent 2nd
Son 7
Kane 6 - Missed 3 or 4 chances he'd normally bury

Lamela 6
Llorente 6 - Nice target man play but really should have scored

Poch 6 - Playing 4-4-2 and pushing both FBs on aggressively with no effective DCM was a big mistake IMO.

Made an average United team look much better than they were. DDG was good, but we made him look so much better by shooting straight at him.

Mike Dean is a fucking disgrace to the entire country.

Lloris shouldn't be getting beat by Rashford on that shot, apart from that alright.

Trippier made the fatal error, but did put some good balls into the box. Might be time to give KWP a longer look.
Toby amazing as always, Vertonghen much improved from the last time I saw him v Wolves.
Davies serviceable, not enough going forwards today.

Winks and Sissoko were solid.

Eriksen was a mixed bag, generally lean on the side of good with some of the openings he found, but also gave the ball away a ton and didn't run that much (from what I remember).
Dele and Son and Kane were unspectacular, the latter two probably tired at this point.

Lamela did alright.
Llorente was a very useful sub.

Not much to say. Draw probably would have been a fair result, De Gea was very good but on another day we score 2-3 pretty easily creating the chances we did. They arguably could have had more than one too, have to factor in that they were happy to sit back in the second half. Not much in between the two sides today.

Maybe in the two minutes after he went off, but Pogba barely made any impact after that imo. We ran the game, not him. Fully agree we need to add to central midfield though, especially as we are actually selling Dembele
