I have not seen a worse first half this season. If Shelvey was ours I would give him MOTM as he was conducted that midfield and was more effective than ours in that position.

Although they produced the goal, both Son and Kane were very poor overall but Poch is too blinkered or stubborn to drop either IMO

Eriksen was our best player overall and gets my MOTM.

Eriksen absolute beast tonight. Those who doubt his work rate should watch this game again.

The usual suspects bailed us out. Eriksen and Vertonghen performed, Lloris did his job well, and we just qualified for the CL for the third year running so I'll not waste my time discussing the rest of the team.

What a feeling securing CL-football next season.

And that’s what we can say about this game. Rest was pretty shit!

Rest of the starters 3

Absolutely abysmal performance but somehow managed to scrape the result. Massive stroke of luck Huddersfield drawing at Chelsea as well. We're guaranteed 4th now but don't deserve it based on today or the last couple of weeks.

I know he's shite, and yes I'm kinda gratuitously sticking up for him, but Sissoko did some very important things in that second half. The block in that scramble in our box foremost among them - almost certainly saved a goal. He also got one other very important header on a dangerous cross of theirs at one point, and was generally up and down the pitch the whole time. I think I recall at least one good offensive ball too down the inside right channel, although I was climbing the wall at the time and may be wrong about that.

We have to learn to win when playing shit. Now the next task is to secure 3rd possibly 2nd.

I think he is very good today by his own standard. Therefore, he is simply not good enough for us in the future with his ability. A top sissoko is still a sissoko. However, I really like his effort to this club and hope he can find a good club

Don't get me wrong i don't like digging put our players but he didn't know what to do in centre midfield. He hasn't got the touch or awareness to play it effectively but i cannot fault his work ethic. Works hard offensively and defensively but is not a suitable choice for us if we are to progress.

We get CL , leap frog the best team in the galaxy into 3rd, Arsenal get destroyed, Chelsea bottling it
Huddersfield surviving

And there's no motd, the first time in awhile I can stand to watch it.
