Lloris 9 - MOTM by a country mile and without him we'd have been well beaten today
Dier 5 - had a tough game against Bolasie, offered nothing going forward and struggled postionally again
Fazio 7 - Encouraging to see him playing well for the third match
Vertonghen 7 - Played well, helped us stay on terms with Palace
Davies 7 - another decent game, the back unit is starting to take shape at last. Walker back ASAP
Bentaleb 6 - was ok today, too much sideways and backwards passing though
Mason 6 - mixed bag, some lovely passes but a lot more wasteful ones. The CM pairing struggled today
Lamela 5 - was awful, just started to find his way in to the game as the half ended and then was subbed, can't argue with the sub based on his performance because he was shit but he was showing signs of improvement so the timing of the sub hmmm
Erisken 6 - Nice piece of skill, some decent fighting back off the ball but struggled to put his mark on the game. Shame his free kick never went in
Kane 5 = looked shattered. Had nothing in the tank, was shooting too often Townsend style when there were other options
Soldado 5 - wasn't involved in the game but he had two pretty decent chances and put them both well over. A top striker would have scored at least once today with the chances he was presented. Not good enough

Chadli 5 - failed to make an impact
Paulinho 5 - surely he will be sold in Jan
Lennon 6 - not given any time to make a real impression but did well with what little time he had. At least he showed energy, probably should have started or at least been the one to replace Lamela

I am not saying that, but Soldado poses zero threat to the opposition defence, doesn't give the defence any cause for concern.
And at the moment neither does Adebayor. Rather Soldado just because has the better passing and seems to care.

Soldado is awful, but as everyone likes him as a person he gets a pass on here. Adebayor can't come back soon enough.
This is not about Ade , Kane or Soldado it is about the team first and foremost. No player is bigger than the team. When Ade is on song he is a very good player, but when not he is awful.

People won't like to hear this, but Mason and Bentaleb were poor in this game. Whether that's down to fatigue or they simply aren't as good as some people here project them to be (bit of both), they shouldn't be the first two names on the team sheet every week. Poch has got to either get the best out of Dembele/Stambouli/Capoue, or he needs to go out and convince Levy to spend huge money in January on a CM who can dictate play and create chances.

As much as I like him. Soldado was most at fault today. You just can't miss the sort of chances he got if you aspire to be a top club. He cost 20 million and finished like a lower league striker today.

Only the defence (maybe bar Dier at times) deserve credit in this match.

Mason has looked in the last couple of games now as if he is running out of steam a bit. Kane also today it looked one match too far. Bentaleb went into his shell second half and three games in a week after injury was also probably too much to ask of the kid. I agree that we cannot be relying on them throughout the season, needs sorting.

I agree. I think Bentaleb is a big talent. Mason is a solid pro. We are crying out for a top class central midfielder.

But Soldado is amazing when he's not scoring? If you get over your hatred for Ade for a minute, you'll realise that one of the two offers a goalscoring threat and the other doesn't.

Past Adebayor does, current Adebayor does not. Neither add enough threat.

After a great performance last week against Everton, a decentish performance against Chavksi, didn't expect us to play so bad today.

Lloris 9 - saved us from further embarrassment

Can't be bothered with the rest.

Just got in from the theatre. Edward Scissorhands. Pretty good.

Anyway, I just saw the score. FML, I bet it's kicking off on the site today.

I take it Lamela was shite again?

Dier at a 7?....being a shade generous.

Kid just looks like he is barely hanging in there at RB, just looks sapped of confidence.
I gave him and extra two points for having to deal with Bolasi and doing a fair enough job

I'm struggling to understand Pochettino today, the game was crying out for a bit of attack out wide, he has Lennon on the bench so be brings on Paulinho.

As for ratings I thought everyone was 'meh' apart from Hugo and Fazio. Our midfielders were at times bottling it and I felt sorry for Dier - Walker cant come back quick enough.

Soldado's workrate was piss poor. He did get on the end of a few chances, regardless of his finishing, but in terms of pressing and just hassling his opponents it was a fucking abysmal effort. Adebayor would be copping a fuckload of grief for a performance like that and so should he. Why do so many of our players just not want to put the hard work in? Annoying.
Bollocks!. You just have an agenda against Soldado. I agree he did not have a good game but there were worse on field including Kane so why single him out?

To me it looked like he survived Bolasie, Zaha and Puncheon.....Palace were really abusing that mismatch they just never made us pay. Bit more quality from any of the wingers on that flank or on any of the corners that we gave up from that flank and the match outcome is a different story...
