..And here's where we agree to disagree Mr P ...and yes , I'm a glass half empty man !
Well a “fluke” is usually a one-off event, we’re winning consistently and, in general, have been the better side overall in the wins, even if we’re not playing at our best.

What was the poor selection(s)? We rotated some players and got the result. MP, job well done, IMO.
MP was vindicated by the result. 'I won', the end.
But good as Sissoko was, we will not finish top 4 with him and Wanyama as a midfield pair.

So I'm not saying we had better players on the bench, but MP has been here a fair while now, and if we are short of players in midfield then that is down to him.
After all, it is not misfortune that Dembele is injured and Wanyama struggling. With all due respect to both of them for what they have done for the club, but they shouldn't be here any more.

Is it down to MP or is it down to Levy and our limited finances. I agree that Wanyama and Sissoko are not our best pairing but the fact is we did not need to overplayed better options to beat Palace. Poch has to figure out how to rotate players and have our best options available in our most important matches while being able to play squad players and produce the results in games against teams we should beat. As I said before, job well done by Poch regarding his selection in this one.

Not rotating players properly is one of the sticks many of us have been using to beat Poch with, so it was very pleasing to see him finally doing that and getting a win in the process against a complicated rival.

Now, if only Poch had the balls to rotate Harry Kane a bit more, that would be wonderful.
