I think I can safely say that the Spurs have finally woken up from their early season slumber. Some breath taking moments, especially the 1st half

The ref again was a joke and so are those who might say that Sissoko was poor

Anyway please take a bow my MOTM Harold Edward Kane

Of course Kane won't leave very soon. But I think you really need to pay more than 250m to get him in today's market

All attacking players are really good. Dele has been massively improved after Poch's consultation.

Hugo - Worrying recently. I expect him to save the goals conceded today

Sanchez - very average today. But he is just 21

Other defenders - very good. Aurier is obviously better than tripper

Sissoko - I think he should get more credit for his recent performance as a CM.

Kane scored a hattrick but was lacklustre after his hattrick. Unsurprising though. His mental strength just sapped away after breaking the record. I'd still give him a 9 though.

Alli was super today. But had to spoil it a bit by that poor effort to dribble past a player when he had more than 5 options to choose from. Still gets a 9 for me.

9 - Alli, Kane, Verts and Son
8 - Eriksen, Rose, Dier
7 - Dembele, Sanchez, Aurier, Sissoko, Lamela
5 - Lloris

Vertonghen for me.

Overall I would say that every player had a good/decent/solid performance, though I thought Dembele & Lloris were a bit disappointing.

Kane for the hat trick, record, and all around play.

But Dier makes a world of difference to how we play wen he plays CM instead of CB. Simply gives others confidence in attack and defense.

*Wanyama does too, and looking forward to his return.

- Lloris 5 (Poor kicking and for both goals)

- Aurier 7 (Solid)
- Sanchez 6 (Struggled at times against Long)
- Vertonghen 9 (Class act)
- Rose 8 (Full of power, pace and aggression)

- Dier 8 (Composed, skilful and defensively sound. Moved the ball well too)
- Dembele 6 (Unfortunately, his powers seem to be on the wain)

- Son 8 (Brilliant all round display)
- Dele 9 (So skilful and silky on the ball, and dynamic off it)
- Eriksen 7 (Lost the ball a lot, but quietly effective going forward)

- Kane 9 MOM (Peerless)

Got to be Kane again. Front 4 were great in patches, especially Alli - another good game. Disappointing to let the goals.

My MOTM goes to Alli. Beautiful goal, two assist and overall very good game. Probably the best game from him so far this season. Of course Kane scored hattrick but I think Alli deserved it more.

Happy to see Alli performing well, Kane easily MOTM, but verts, Alli and son close behind. Rose getting back to his level again.

Looks like Alli is back, following his usual pattern of slow start superstar second half of season...who woulda thunk it?.

I said on a thread when Dier was being criticized that for us his role should be CM. The cover he provides is ideal for another player to control the pace of the game. But he also good on the ball

Rose and Alli looked very good today. Kane superb. Son superb. Verts and Dier were brilliant and Aurier showed why he is our number 1 right back cos he was in attacking positions. But how much of that was down to knowing Dier was there protecting

the most important thing I saw today was the team playing again. A few weeks ago we would have only seen maybe 1 or 2 goals because instead of playing as a team players were running into players, shooting in poor positions and movement was poor. This was last season's tottenham. Playing as a team. Love it

Has to go to Harry. Yet another hat trick and smashes Shearer's record. Must be an absolute dream to manage.

Close behind comes Dele. 2 sublime passes and a fabulous goal, passed into the net ala Greavsie.
Vertonghen - absolute Rolls Royce performance.
Dembele - battled hard and we lost a lot of shape when he went off and the game became a bit helter skelter.

Hugo - Not in great form. 2 soft goals which are mainly down to him and yet more dodgy distribution to players under pressure when there's absolutely no need for it.

Son - ran his nuts off and pulled their defence all over the place. Nice finish for his goal.

Dier - few dodgy moments and attempts the crowd pleaser ball too often. Solid enough though but really can't wait to have Vic back.

Aurier - starting to look much better and less reckless.

Eriksen - Swiss watch but not quite on time at the moment. Still a very influential player.

Rose - Didn't look like a player eyeing the exit door to me.

Sanchez - Not at his best but stuck to his task. Massive potential.
