Many people blaming Poch I don't see it that way at all. I thought it was right to rotate the squad against Swansea no disrespect to Swansea but if you can't rotate at home to Swansea then we are in trouble....looking at our team we had Kane Alli Eriksen Son on the pitch that should be enough imo to beat them at home on any given day.

Credit to Swansea they obviously came with a master game plan, to park the bus, they defended very deep and conceded an obscene amount of possession of the football. Unfortunately we weren't clinical enough and paid the price, we are going to come across many games like this at Wembley where teams come for a point...I feel we will win the majority of these games given time but will have to be much more clinical and quicker in transition when the games not going to script.

I feel Poch needs to make a decision quickly on the Trippier Aurier debate who is first choice, imo it should be an easy selection (Aurier) . With Rose being out Davies has to be managed and It was the correct decision to rotate him.

All given 7.

Credit to Swansea they looked very organised with a full week of preparation defensively strong at the back and with their strikers they could be a trouble to many other teams.

Well we must be in trouble then because that's what we did and we failed get the 3 points.

Sorry but the blame for this game is at the feet of Poch, the rotation from a team that just beat Dortmund was a silly decision, he underestimated Swansea and we paid the price for that, Davies and Aurier should have started, they should be first choice, Son should never play at LWB and Trippier at putting LWB and subbing off Son was probably the most ridiculous sub I have seen Poch make since he has been here.

Also, Sissoko should never be near the first team again, he is shambolic.

I agree with the rest of your post however, especially in regards to being more clinical and quicker in transition which seems to be our main problem right now, we don't move the ball quick enough and our play is predictable, it was like this at the start of last season when we were getting draws until we "clicked" which came with the formation change after we got dumped out of the CL.

We start slow every season and it always seems to bite us in the arse come the tail end.

If Davies was fit enough to be on the bench then surely he was fit enough to come on and play 30-45 minutes. My own view is that if Aurier and Davies had played the second half in place of Trippier and Sissoko with Son playing in his normal role then we would have won that match.

I agree that Poch made errors in starting XI, changing players positions, and subs, but you could also say that if the ref had given us 1 of the 3 possible pens, this thread would of been a lot more positive

for the 1,000,000 time and not aimed directly at you (though some of your post are like looking in a mirror and repeating themselves), last season we drew away to Everton on our 1st game (might of been easy this season, but a lot of teams struggled there last season), we also drew our 3rd game v Liverpool even at home it's a tough fixture, but after our 1st 7 matches we had P7 - W5 - D2 - L0

the only thing started slowly last season on was our fast press, which I think Poch installed to try and stop an early burn out. The only reason we then had a toughish time after Man C at home for a spell of 5 out of 6 games was due to Kane & Toby being out, on top of having to heavily rotate during that time due to CL, and a league cup match, due to other knocks.

Once again, between Vertonghen and Eriksen for MOTM. Vertonghen made a staggering 130 passes and still managed the second highest completion rate (92.3%), all while playing as a de facto CM playmaker pretty much.

I personally don't like seeing Vertonghen so advanced it's not a good sign when a central defender is so involved with breaking the deadlock.

Most of Vertonghens advanced positions against Swansea left me questioning why players more design weren't ...I thought Vertonghen was wasteful and left a bitter wondering thought why others didn't take charge.
