We deserved what we got, fucked by Deany and co!

This is why we will never win anything

Only Moura and Trippier comes out with any credit.

We fucking had this and threw it away

Well played Watford, I hold no grudges here

I’ve got more jovial things to do this afternoon, such as picking up dog shit.

And I don’t own a dog.

We were very poor and got worse once we got the lead.

Not sure what Poch was trying to achieve, if you're going to cross balls into the box then play Llorente.

Played completely into their hands, no real cohesion (or indeed midfield) at any point, and a deserved loss.

Worst I've seen us play in a long while.

Moura and Verthongen good. Rest diabolical.

Poch, what the fuck were you thinking all game.

In confused as to what Poch saw that he made no changes until 2-1 down. The back 3s only impact was to concede possession in midfield. Back 3 only works with rose and walker from 2 years ago.

Team was poor on the whole but hopefully a quick kick up the backside to play better

Sadly our manager though he was clever, and in the aftermath of a convincing win away to Manchester Utd, criticises the team’s performance, changed the formation and refused to make a sub until we were stuffed. That is why he got my man of the match.

Vorm - crap on both goals. Particularly the second.

Centre backs - conceded twice from set pieces. Atrocious.

Trippier - our only real threat.

Dembele - not a defensive midfielder. There were two excellent options on the bench for this, manager elected not to use either. Must know something we don’t.

Davies - weakling today.

Dele - that was the full BC bumble! Countless decent opportunities wasted by indecision.

Eriksen - needs a kick in the face to remind him that the season has started, cowardly performance with and without the ball.

Lucas - tried but sadly left isolated too often by a team drawn deep by the formation and a strike partner with no will to join in.

Kane - unforgivable lack of effort today. But at least he’s banking £200k for this week’s work so he can sleep easy.

Llorente struggles, Winks was bright, Rose bought a free kick.

Extremely concerning that we conceded the winner from a corner when we had so many set pieces that we very rarely threatened from. Watford were not particularly easy on the eye and for the home team, created precious little from open play, however...theystepped up after our goal and applied the right pressure and the right time - smart where it counted. Very impressed by how they saw out the game but even then, Kane should have buried a straightforward header to equalize. It hurts because the loss will linger for a few weeks - let's hope they take out their frustrations on Liverpool.

Not many impressed individually but Lucas put in a good shift - Trippier was ok. Rest very, very meh.

I'm sure Sanchez will get blamed but Toby and Jan were equally pathetic the minute the pressure got put on us.

Only Trippier played reasonably well. Lucas was patchy and thought he was poor after we fell behind. Dele all over the place and not in good way, Eriksen strolling around sleepwalking, Kane appalling.

Llorente pointless sub, Dembele should never have started on his own in CM and should have been taken off earlier. Davies should have been subbed at HT.

Dille Dalli gets a minus score.

Would be harder on Eriksen if he wasn't the only fucker out there today with the balls to take a shot. Everyone else was handing that responsibility over to the next guy.

Pochettino gets a big fat fucking F today for being completely clueless.

Why on earth do we play Rose who is a wing back when we play 4 at the back but then bring back Davies to play as a wing back which he most definitely is not ? The number of wasted balls he played from good positions was appalling.
We got out muscled in the last 30 minutes and can we go back to using Dembele in his cameo role for the last 30 minutes ? Playing him as our only DM was asking for trouble. He was clearly exhausted and should have gone off way earlier instead of giving away a clumsy free kick which sparked their fight back.
Still at least Son escaped his military service so the weekend wasn’t a total disaster.

Davies was pathetic today, but Eriksen was the worst, because we all know how much he able to decide a match and he continues to hide in the games, has not yet debuted this season. We need to resolve his contratual issue soon.

Vorm 5- average
Davies 3- bad in attack and defence
Toby 7- apart from their goals was good
Vert 7- as above
Sanchez 5- good first half but though he was super shakey and being bullied in 2nd
Trip 7- good

Dembele 4- didn't work playing that role

Eriksen 2- shocking all round
Alli 3- slightly better than Christian but mostly terrible still

Lucas 7- worked hard, our only player that looked semi likely to do something

Kane 3- poor, clumsy stuff

Kane did ok considering his service was basically nil. Davies, Trips, Eriksen and Alli the biggest offenders today imo.

Vorm - 5. Little could do about the goals, no real saves to make. Terrible kicking.
Trippier - 6. Looked decent enough, but caught out a few times on that flank.
Alderweireld - 5. Looked absolutely fine until we scored, then turned to shit.
Sanchez - 5. See above.
Vertonghen - 5. See above.
Davies - 4. Ineffective. Doesn’t defend that well. Doesn’t really do much offensively. This LB spot is becoming a real issue.
Dembele - 4. Caught on the ball. Sloppy passing. Silly free kick led to their goal.
Eriksen - 5. Got better as the game went on, but without a defensive minded player in midfield, we look so light-weight.
Lucas - 7. Always running. Looking to make something happen. Shame he was the only one.
Alli - 5. So slow. Some nice touches and unlucky not to score that first-half header, but killed our counters as soon as they’d started.
Kane - 5. Some nice play at times, but Watford crowded him out with ease. Missed that chance towards the end but in his defence he was just under it.

Subs: We can criticise Llorente for being shit or whatever, but what’s the point if we’re getting him to run into the flanks and passing it along the ground. We know his game and we don’t play it. Utterly pointless.

Winks looked good when he came on. Drove forward. Seriously if he’s fit, start him over Dembele.

Who was the other sub? Rose. Yeah, we’ll, I’d just start him from now. Whatever happens, it’ll be more exciting than Davies.

Poch gets a 4 from me. Why he felt the need to change the system is beyond me. Dropping Dier was ridiculous. Maybe we can all stop questioning what a player like Dier offers.
