I always had faith in Poch's faith in Llorente! Never doubted it for once :cautious:

We dont do draws, remember that! ! Son my man of the match but would love to have given it to the "winking " ball boy!

Ill hold my hands up. Well done to Fernando for sticking at it and getting the winner, he was truly awful for large parts of the game but to his massive credit he carried on, didnt let his head drop and it well and truly paid off. Fair play.

Son MOTM without a doubt, he was amazing.

I find it more amazing that he can just put a performance in like that, I you think about what he just went throught with South Korea with tears in his eyes.

Well done my Son

Rose great, Son great, Llorente best game (bar the sitter). Eriksen delivery was awful, and yet another mistake by Hugo. Still 3 points in the bag COYS

Additionally, Aurier at the very least deserves the same level of criticism/hate as some other players after yet another poor performance.

Careful what you wish for tbh.

As much grief as I gave Llorente in the match thread - I tip my hat here - for never giving up.

Moura was the biggest difference maker on the pitch though. Sonny had a few moment, but every time Lucas was involved, something happened, and he should have had a Pen.

Special mention for moura. When he came on he changed the game with his direct running, pace and skill. He was unplayable and they could only resort to hacking him down. His shirt looked like he had been playing rugby within minutes of his introduction.

After that Watford were scared to leave their own half allowing us to totally dominate. I felt it was only a matter of time until the score line would be reversed and every Watford player knew it! Great finish from son but motm moura for me.

Llorente MOTM. After that miss a lesser player would have capitulated.
He grabbed an assist and the winner. And had to play against Watford and his own fans.

Including me. Legend.

I will never understand how players with so poor control, understanding and vision are playing at this level. At least Trippier has qualities, and occationally a good game.

as I said in the match thread at the half, I thought we were playing well enough, though it was looking like one of those nights as the second half worse on.

Lloris - NR, was taking a piss when they scored.

Rose - 7.5 involved all night

Sanchez - 7 no complaints

Verts - 7.5 he and Toby were stout all game

Toby - 7.5 . see above

Aurier - 4 Im starting to wonder what he does for us

Sissoko - 7.5 ran the midfield with Winks in the first and then gladly moved to RB. Cant say enough about his commitment to the team

Winks - 8 . MOTM for me. Outplayed our possibly Madrid bound Eriksen by some distance

Eriksen - 6 worked well enough but didnt seem to have his heart in it at times

Son - 8 what a player. Without his attitude all game we'd never come back.

Llorente - 7 only for the goal. Was seething at his two misses.

Had we drawn, deduct 0.5 from each, deduct 1 for a loss.
