Lloris saved us a couple of times. Rose, Eriksen and Kane good. As was Dembele.

We beat a Pulis side 3-0 away, so the whole team must have done something right. Excellent result.

Lloris 9- my man of the match. Every game he pulls off insane saves

Kane and eriksen 8. Both excellent and winning us games

Hard to choose between Lloris & Kane who were exceptional, 9's for them both. Eriksen an 8 and probably Dembele too who was great in the first half as well.

Everyone else was good and did their job 7's.

Agree but I would probably bump Paul up to 5.5 or 6 if being nice, because thought improved 2nd half. Then again hist first half was pretty bad

Lloris - 9 - MOTM. Not doing anything wrong, Avoided that WBA could come back

Walker, Rose, Vertonghen, Fazio - 6.5 - Did their jobs without many upfucks. Still WBA came to some good chances. Could have ended worse

Paulinho - 6 - not bad but don't get him. Takes so long, so easy to beat at times, bad decision making, avoiding any risk..... I just dont like his play and want him to leave. Today it worked but not a long term solution for me
Mason - 6.5
Eriksen - 7.5 - good game, good free-kick, some good passes but in the final third at the end not effective enough today
Lamela - 7
Dembele - 7
Kane - 8 - cheers buddy to the 110 % you give all the time.

Chadli - 6
Stambouli - 6.5
Soldado - NET

Ericksen for me as he kept us ticking over nicely plus scored another outstanding free kick.
Special mention to Hugo and Harry too as both played exceptionally well

I can't count further than three, so bugger numbers. Instead, a blatant cross-post from the match thread:

Great performance, particularly given the midweek game. We clearly need to start Paulinho in every match. He dictated play from the start and made all the difference. [/sarcacsm]

Seriously though, a really good team performance, especially given the absence of Bentaleb, and Mason looking very weary and unable to play like he did against the Blades. Good to see Chadli back. Standout games by The Great Dane and the HurriKane as usual. I'll be very sad when Lloris is reclaimed by Zeus too.

Fazio was superb at times, and caught out by his oil-tanker mobility at others. Personally that doesn't bother me as long as he's paired with a mobile CB such as Verts, and they both understand their roles. Bruce/Pallister etc - many of the best CB combos have been like this.

Commendation for Rose too. He's really starting to look the player Sunderland voted as their player of the season, rather than the catastrophe we saw last year.

I'm yet to be convinced by Dembele, but he did alright today as well.

The Llama was okay, and I'm very happy to see him getting minutes. Yeah, he made poor decisions and gave the ball away, but he has so much ability and talent. At his age, giving him starts is an investment in the future. He'll be a superstar, as long as we don't give up on the kid.

Sensational: Lloris (MOM), Kane, Fans
Brilliant: Eriksen, Rose, Poch
Good: Verts, Fazio, Chadli, Stambo, Dembele, Lamela
Average: Walker, Paul (which is an improvement, thought he was fine today), Mason (as everyone knows, I love him, but thought he looked a little tired today)

Paulihno 5? You are the type of fan I despise.
To be fair, he wasn't very good. I've not personally lost all patience and I'd be delighted if he came good. But 5/6 today is fair IMO. It's not for lack of effort or talent (although his 1st touch is shit tbh) - he just seems to be struggling massively to adapt to the EPL.

I honestly think that if Poch had played Stambouli instead Paulhino and allowed Dembele to play more forward as he did against Sheff Utd, the win would have been more comprehensive.

9 Lloris MOM
8 Kane Eriksen
7.5 Dembele Rose
7 Fazio Verts Lamela
6 Mason (Knackered)
5 Paulhino (Would have been lower but improved 2nd half) Walker (He worries me)

Lloris - It's Lloris 8

Walker - some good, some bad. Better though 6.5

Fazio - A few ropey moments but I'd keep him in team to build on Vertonghen partnership 6.5

Vertonghen - solid performance 7

Rose - good game. Magnificent last ditch challenge to save goal 7.5

Mason - Solid game. Glad we rested him as need his energy vs Arsenal 7

Paulinho - slightly dodgy first half but second he was excellent and played big role in it being comfortable 7

Dembele - another good game and interesting attacking midfield option now 7

Eriksen - great free kick and overall was superb. Worked so hard and some of passing was brilliant 8.5

Kane - great to see him back in the goals. We have to keep him fit 8

Chadli - looked a bit rusty understandably but great to have him back 6

Stambouli - Good sub and made the last 20mins easy 7

Soldado - NET

Pochettino got things spot on today and overall doing a fantastic job. Exciting next month or so.
