Lloris - 9*
Trippier - 3
Sanchez - 7
Toby - 7
Davies - 6
Dier - 7
Winks - 8
Sissoko - 7
Lucas - 6
Lamela - 9
Kane - 4

Dembele - 6
Llorente & Eriksen - NET

Subs entirely too late as per usual. Trippier almost gets worse every game. Davies finally had a decent game this season. Kane with another poor game. Everyone else good but Lucas who was decent. Winks was great. Lamela and Lloris were fantastic. Lloris MOM as he saved our asses the entire 2nd half.

CBA to do full ratings but Winks and Lloris outstanding. Even Hugo's distribution was on point.

Full-backs weren't great would be my only complaint.

It's the first time I've voted Sissoko without it being due to sympathy.

Lamela, Sissoko, Lloris, Winks - Excellent

Toby, Sanchez, Lucas, Dier - Decent

Kane - Ok

Trippier, Davies - Could do better

A decent enough performance to win away against a team that have taken points off Chelsea and Man Utd recently and always seem to raise their game against us. Not a classic, but satisfactory.

Believe that makes it four wins on the bounce and three clean sheets in a row.

In those away games where its going to be a bit of a battle physically Sisokko is definitely worth starting.

Palace away in a few weeks, under the lights Saturday evening, is another game he should start in.

Yeesh the bar is low. Nice cross for the goal and definitely one of his better performances but gave the ball away in key areas a couple times that really could have cost us. The big Hugo save after half time was a chance gifted to them by Sissoko being sloppy.
The bar was low, really? Toby, Sanchez, Davies, Dier they all gave the ball away in key areas as well. Your dislike for Sissoko make you sound like an idiot.

Not just because I think he’s not good enough so anything above that looks impressive but Sissoko actually played very well today.

Winks was excellent, need to keep playing him got loads of potential.

Full backs were both poor.

Lamela continued his extremely good start to the season.

Lloris MOTM though for me, been slightly critical of him but his performance today meant we won.

Great result from a tough fixture, especially given our injuries. Gave motm to Sissoko. That's the best footballing game I've seen him play.

Can only think that's the outcome of training work with regard to game awareness and his own positioning.

His body positioning when he received the ball, and then turning into an attacking position looked Winks-like at times. Far less nervous energy as well.

Liked what he gave us today. Haven't seen that from him throughout a game before.

Motm Lamela., drive, swagger, verve and other nice words :D mugged Diop on command.

Notable mentions;

Winks, growing in confidence all the time, and will soon be match fit too.
Lloris, after some shaky games did well today with saves and distribution.

Moura, endeavour and no lack of speed, just needs to calm down when he uses the ball as it can suffer from him moving too fast.

We had the good the bad and the ugly from Sissoko, one minute spinning someone and putting in a delightful left footed cross for our goal, then the next, trying to nutmeg a man at right back and nearly costing us one. More good than bad today but those moments are always likely.
Kane, had another game where he looked like he was running up hill in the mud.
Thought Davies was ok.
Toby, Dier, and Sanchez were fine (although Sanchez had a couple of dodgy moments and should have scored at least one of his glorious chances.
Trippier from start to finish was just sloppy and didn't learn when he dived in to get in front of Antonio twice towards the end and got rolled.

No need for a coronary. Just didn't think he was great bar the lovely cross. Definitely a good performance by his usual standards though.

Winks definitely looks like his confidence is coming back. It really makes such a difference, he was more ambitious today than he has been recently.

Winks played really well. I was so used to him playing safe with sideways and backwards passing but today he drove forward and made sime nice dribbles. I remember he lost all his confidence in that City game last season so hopefully he will go into that game on fire

Interesting result and MOTM when you cast your mind back to what some posters were saying in the Lloris thread.

I'm a big fan of Hugo, though still feel he should of saved the Germany pen, but what did you really call him when he rushed out to concede the 1st goal v Barca, and his distribution led to their 4th?

I voted for him today because he did his job and made some excellent saves, but when he has his moments they usually cost us big

I think you will find a lot of their attacks where caused by sloppy passing by a lot of players, or giving silly free kicks away

Lloris - 9. Won us the game. Looked back to his best. His kicking was even unusually accurate.

Toby - 8. Very solid. Some really good defensive work, the slide tackle on Arnautovic was world class because he would have been in on goal and probably scored too.

Sanchez - 6.5. Solid as well. Didn't do too much wrong. But Christ with the ball at his feet he looks like a deer in headlights. He shouldn't be asked to play the ball out. I think that's why Dier and Dembele often come and take the ball from him. He absolutely murders the ball when he's passing out wide to the full backs. A worry but at least he's showing the form defensively beside Toby that he did next to Jan all season.

Trippier and Davies - 6. Meh. Average. Trippier looks like he's believing his hype a bit too much since the WC. His free kicks and corners are not great recently either. Getting caught committing to challenges out wide and players are skipping him quite easily. Antonio did it 2 or 3 times in the last 15 minutes. Davies was ok. Didn't do much wrong but didn't really look comfortable either.

Winks - 7. Excellent all game. Offensively and defensively. Driving runs were an added bonus and the lad looks like he's got good close control with a burst of pace over 20 yards too. A real asset. Noble was gassed running around after him.

Dier - 7. Solid. A lot happening around him and he hardly misplaced a pass today. Really impressed with him in the last couple of games for England and Spurs.

Sissoko - 8. Who needs Bale when you got Sissoko? Looks like he's been working hard on the training pitch. Comfortable on the ball, tough tackling, all action. Really happy for him because he he's had a hard time here.

Lamela - 7. Lovely goal. Lovely end to the first half when he was just taking the absolute piss out of Diop and Anderson with flicks and touches. I actually laughed out loud when he flicked it over the lads leg and just breezed passed him.

Lucas - 7. Great running. Great dribbling. Sharp elbows. Lucky he didn't have his ankle or leg broken by that filth bag Snodgrass.

Kane - 6. Sluggish. Surprised he didn't score with his chance first half. Second half though, I loved his hold up play and control from high balls. Drawing loads of fouls and slowing the game down. A bit slow to move the ball when facing the goal but overall im optimistic with how he played second half. He definitely missed Dele though.

Good, gritty win. Winks was fantastic I thought and it’s pleasing to see him being progressive and driving forward. Lamela continues to be our outstanding player this season and is surely the first name on the team sheet and rightfully so

My only gripe is the full backs. Trippier, who if we have decided on a back 4 going forward isn’t up to snuff defensively - his defending vs Antonio in those last few minutes was schoolboy stuff - and today his delivery was consistently wasteful. And Davies hasn’t come close to his form of last season, he looks slower and bereft of confidence going forward

Sissoko has upped his game valuable member of the squad now. Lamela scoring goals and Moura a real threat just needs to improve final ball and decision making. Good performance today and worthy winners
