Bin dippers are so forgetful. Remember when we were linked with Andy Carroll before he signed for them?

This should be a reminder about the cyclical nature of football. When they were a top 4 team they could attract big names and we couldn't. Even if we were willing to match the wage demands, Liverpool would be a more enticing destination than Spurs 10 years ago. It wasn't a refection on either club or their fans, just logic. Now the tables have turned, it's still no reflection on the clubs but most players would rather join the team who are third in the premiership than the one who are in tenth. In a few years the tables might have turned again or maybe we'll all be wondering why the next big thing is joining West Ham

I love this pic. Every time I see it something else pops up. '35 racist comments'

"pictures of Luiz Suarez with black people" - cracked me up because you could just see that being on a site like RAWK.

My favourite quote from that thread...

"I don't like him, but Levy is good, very good."

I'm sure Fergie, Aulas and a few others would agree.

Fair point and I agree but I think you need to change "10 years ago" to "3 years ago" as that was the last time when LFC was a more attractive option than Spurs and was the last time LFC beat Spurs to a player (if we don't coun't Bellamy in 2011 as his agent said Redknapp really wanted him but he chose LFC coz of Dalglish being his hero which isn't really picking LFC because of LFC).

Just adding balance but besides that point I think you are cmpletely spot on mate.

damn internet, i kind of liked liverpool before i found RAWK. My point to pool fans is that financially they must be absolutely fucked if we outspend them on wages. Holtby simply looked at the two teams and thought 'i would rather play football with Bale, Dembele and Vertonghen than Borini, Downing and Martin Kelly'

They really need to get used to the idea that they arent even in the second tier of top english sides anymore.

avb who won at Porto and is 3rd with Spurs or Rogers who failed at Watford, failed at reading and is in 10th place.

Bale Lloris kaboul lennon dembele. All players in their early or mid 20's who will only improve or a 32 yr old Gerrad, suarez(who already begged Barca to sign him) and 31 yr old Reina.

Brand new training ground, hopefully brand new 56k seat stadium soon or warn out Anfield and living in Liverpool instead of leafy Hertfordshire or Essex.

Easy choice

You forgot that Liverpool players also get burgled at least once in their time there.

Lol at the tabs at the top. Nine history sections and one for 'KKK Membership'

:ROFLMAO:

i'm reading the nine history sections as being related to "American History X", though it being about liverpool fans, it might just be because all they've got is the past

Might be a pun on American History X, as well as a riff on the history loving Lolerfool's

Mongs aren't they!! bandying around guesswork wages as if it's fact, trying to convince themselves it's all ok.

I haven't seen him, therefore it's no loss. If we really wanted him, blah blah. I suppose the reactions are no different to any club, but that doesn't mean they aren't dumb. It's as if some girl has turned them down for someone with a flashier motor. Nah, didn't want her anyway, she's only with him for the money.. well, if you had the same ambition perhaps she would consider you?

Spurs are 8pts clear of them, despite having a very similar situation and start to the season. While they are signing players like Sturridge who have struggled at every decent club they have played at, Spurs are assembling a decent team of prospects to fit in a very good side one by one. Suarez has scored 15 of their 34 league goals this season, they are so reliant on him and still on Gerrard. The rest of the side is so average, yet Spurs have threats all over the pitch.

I'd aurge all Spurs supporter not to get involved in slagging matches with Liverpool supporter, their still a big club should be respected. They can still draw big names when they get their house in order! were Tottenham from the Lane we should concentrate on our own house and leave Pool to their bitterness if they have any....

I hate reading comments from Spurs Supporter gloating about why any player would go to Liverpool, Pool are still a massive club in my books.

I REALLY don't like Liverpool but I do feel that they are being massively underrated on here at the moment. They've had their rickets for sure but, from what I have seen of them, they are slowly getting there and, in time, will really be a force to be reckoned with.

Their last few games they have really put teams to the sword and have looked extremely comfortable doing it, and this with some decidedly average players on their books. It really wouldn't surprise me if they have a very strong 2nd half of the season and are there or thereabouts.

This is a concern because they still have drawing power with their name. I also feel that Sturridge will do well for them with the quantity of chances they create. If him and Suarez click then that really could be a wake up call for the EPL.

I'm hoping that I am being overly cautious here, but I can't shake the feeling that they are heading towards being a force once again.

I agree with your sentiments but I think it riles the community that they don't offer us the same respect.
We've worked hard to be better than them, no sugar daddies, and for three years now we've out manouvered them, but most on rawk still give us no credit.
One season is a blip, but three.
Read rawk, tis amusing
