Could you give me a specific reason Foyth couldn’t play RB. Pace ? Technical ability? Stamina ? Aerial ability ? Attacking quality ? Because I’m failing to see any area where he is lacking. There are plenty of CB that play full back. Vertoghen obviously last night Gomez at Liverpool Laporte City and pavard in a WC final. Have no idea why people think it’s so outrageous. If he was built like a muscular CB than fair enough. But he’s clearly agile and quick.
You like putting words in people’s posts don’t you.

Again where have I said he CAN’T play RB?

You putting him as first choice RB a position he’s never played and a head of our promising out and out RB is probably why people think it’s silly.

Also why would you change his position when he’s trying to learn the one he’s clearly built to play?

Because currently he’s not getting in the team and when everyone is fit if we play 4231 he may not even get on the bench. Therefore I feel we are wasting him and I believe he is a better footballer then trippier Aurier kwp and quite capable of playing RB. I’m not saying stick him there forever, but just like Gomez or pavard he could move to CB at anytime.

I keep seeing people saying that we should sell Aurier or Trippier or both and then have KWP as first choice.

Does nobody consider that if Poch thought he was better than them he’d already be playing? There must be a reason he doesn’t get game time.

The perfect solutions plays for Crystal Palace and could probably be had for zero net spend with offloading Trippier & Aurier.

If we are selling a RB it will be aurier imo. Trippier is home grown and I would imagine on less wages than aurier and Pochettino picks trippier far more than aurier currently

Give him a break, isn't he only like 12 or something? I'm sure he said something along those lines not long ago.

Pretty soon it'll be fingerbanging going through his mind and he won't have time for all this :shifty:
They don't finger bang any more. It's all about coming on their faces these days. Filthy animals.

I agree with those saying would should sell both Trippier and Aurier, replace them with a top signing and promote KWP to second choice. Ideally we'd get Wan-Bissaka but if not there are surely other good options out there that would be available for zero net spend considering what we'd bring in for the two sales.

If we are selling trippier & Aurier and not replacing surely Kwp becomes first choice over someone who’s never played the position before?
If we were selling Tripps and Aurier because Poch didn't think they were good enough, KWP would be first choice now.

Missing the whole point of the comment ??

The op said selling them and not replacing them ( not me ) but using Foyth as first choice and kwp as back up.

My point was in that in that instance surely kwp would be first choice over a player that’s never played that position

Well even if KWP ends up being first choice sooner or later, even if sooner, I don't see the upside of unloading our two senior RBs for money we're not desperate for. And Foyth seems to be everything for everyone. Some think he should be a midfielder. Others a RB. Poch seems to think he's best at CB. Poch you lack imagination and vision. I mean the guy's 21 now. If he can't play every position on the pitch at CL level, there's no hope for him...

Oh sorry, I thought people might have stopped trying to get players to play in positions they don't actually play.

Foyth at right back, yeah ok. ?
