Taking the romanticism out of thr equation, someone like Bale would definately compliment out squad. A more mature player, winning mentality, the experience he could bring to the team would be priceless.

However, wages etc will probably make this a complete non starter. He is about to enter the twilight of his career so he cannot demand the Galactico level of wages. But will still be way outside our structure.

Since when did The Mirror become a reliable source?
Anyway, €100million for a injury prone player - and whose injury record seem to have escalated this season - who earns 3 x more than Harry and who turns 29 next season....and, Real M. are known to run their players down (i.e. the pressure at Real M. is immense both mentally and physically)... well, not for me.
However, should Pochettion go against my "advice" (;)) I will of course support Bale 100 %.

Injuries can be related to the mental status of a patient, in this case, Bale. If he is unhappy, recovery time takes longer/injuries can be more prevalent. Its amazing how the mind works. @Lemon might be wrong but don't you have a lot of knowledge in the human body? @Houdini chill out bud I know you're an expert on pussy.

Thing is that he was also injury prone while at Spurs...

He's good for 15+ free kick goals a season minimum, that's worth a few points. Remember when we expected a fk goal every game

You mean other than the world class players we already have? Kane, Eriksen, Lloris, Alderwiereld, Vertonghen...

Were any of them ESTABLISHED world class players back when we signed them? With the exception of Lloris, I doubt any of them were.

As part of the deal that led to him being transferred there, did we have first refusal on him should he be sold ? That said, even if we did, it might not be worth much of an advantage if that first refusal clause is contingent on us meeting whatever valuation they choose to put on his head.

Apparently we do but it doesn't mean much.
