Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp described the chants aimed at him from West Ham fans as 'filth' after his former club were defeated at White Hart Lane.

Spurs moved back into the top four the Barclays Premier League following the 2-0 victory courtesy of goal from Luka Modric on his first start since fracturing his fibula and former Hammers striker Jermain Defoe.

Defoe, like other players who have left Upton Park such as Chelsea's Frank Lampard, was also targeted by fans.

Redknapp, when asked if the victory over the club he once played for and managed gave him extra satisfaction after the abuse he received, said: 'Not at all. Who's interested in singing songs about Frank Lampard, who's interested in that? Filth.'

I think the punctuation in the quote is wrong

It should read: "...who's interested in that filth?"

lets hope west ham get relegated.

Redknapp was the best manager they've had in decades, but it counts as nothing to those bitter Spammers. Like Chelski, on the whole their fans are moronic scumbags and always will be. Well that's just my opinion anyway!

I've seen them relegated several times and never tire of it!

yada yada, same thing he said about spurs fans about a year ago..........remember
  5. Spurs_Bear
Doesnt mean that he's wrong Michey.

I love how much West Ham hate us....cos you know that it is because they KNOW we are a bigger and better team than them but they just cant face it

Still makes me laugh how they truely believe that they won the world cup....actually believe it!!!
  7. Michey
everybody on this board thought so and said he was just a big ****

It was just the double standards that bored me....nothing else

sorta the same situation between us and L'arse then. I don't understand why you bother when we're in the same situation against (according to many fans) our biggest rival

    Make that two Michey.
Harry was right both times and it was by no means unanimous on this board or on any other.
Racist, homophobic and anti semitic chanting is wrong wherever it occurs and
Harry is right to reject it.

What are we talking about the Sol Campbell chants? I don't believe that 'everybody' was calling him names at all.

Funny that you get all bent out of shape when someone dares to suggest Keane played badly but are one of the select few who treat every thread as a way to score points of Redknapp. Luckily it is few now that he is done such a wonderful job here.

Small minded thug fans, from a small minded thug team.

    Hope they go down.

This really sums up the mentality of these mindless thugs from the East End Scum ! Sorry I have nothing to say about these lot, but I love it when we beat them and everytime they lose .. YES I FOR ONE would love to see them go down ..

What were the anti-lampard chants?? I'm a big fan of anything anti the fat man! And I do admit I have enjoyed hearing other clubs taunt him; from the arse's fans singing "you fat bas****" which provoked a hilarious quizical look on his chubby features, to, I think it was man u's fans singing "Lampard! You let you're family down, you let your family down..."

On a more serious note, the main factor behind the rise in outright hate from fans towards former players, something we didn't see in the past is surely the astronomical wages players now recieve, along with the complete lack of loyalty players now show to clubs. Players should realise that being bated in such fasion comes with the territory, stop moaning, and realise how fortunate they are. Its the same kind of hatred us peasents hold for the royal family - If some of us had our way we'd haul them all in and chop off their heads!

So it's ok to be taunted about your dead brother or estranged children or that it is hoped you die from HIV if you have money? Maybe we should change the law so it's not a crime to do anything against a rich person. That should motivate people to be successful.

Thats what happens in a revolution. In France it became legal to guillotine the aristocracy, this followed from the doctrine that "property is theft". If players wish to wipe their arses with clubs that still mean something to local communities, the local communities can be expected to respond in kind.

    you got it wrong again............

i couldn't give a fuck about redknapp, it was the double standards on this forum i was gettin at. So try reading again Mr paranoid when it comes to a certain manager. I even wrote it out and you missed it.....how is that even possible
  16. Coyboy
But what double standards are you talking about? Where have you spelt it out?
  17. Michey
Here's where i mentioned double standards...

People didn't like when he criticised Spurs supporters but think he's correct when doing the same thing to others. That was the kind of double standards i was thinking about...........and it's the fans i write about.

  18. Coyboy
When did he criticise Spurs supporters?
    For what?
Who insulted him then and agree with him now?
  19. Michey
    sigh, are you for real?!

I read somewhere that you were drinking beer.....gettin a bit drunk..........or are you just bored????
