He said it was two or three players, other than Parker, Defoe, Lennon, maybe Walker, I can't think who was in the squads when he was manager. But we all know Parker and Defoe were smashing lads who were never a moments bother...

I'm not sure what his point in this is though, is there one?

Bentley, as he didn't get on with Crapello. That's nailed on.
I'd say Lennon too seeing as his main income is from game time with Spurs and he's perennially injured and maybe didn't want to take a risk.

Redknapp, whose England stars while at Spurs included Ledley King, Aaron Lennon, Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone and Scott Parker, said this year's failure in Brazil was a missed chance because Group D's opponents should have been beatable.
It should have been me plea.from a man who got relegated from the Premiership and almost didn't come back up again, with a team whose wage bill was greater than Athletico Madrids.

Not one of the players in that list
would pass up selection for the England team if fit.
In fact all of them, would give their right legs to play for England.
This would prove their dedication
even if it lessened their effectiveness.
Of course if Harry had been manager
they would have been begging to play for such a wonderful man.
Harry was an embarrassment when he was with us
and has got worse since leaving.
Please shut up Harry.

Thought it was common knowledge, England players were sick of the stick they were getting, lets be fare Rooney has taken some shit during the world cup, its nothing new! was even worse with the dire football we were playing under the previous manager!!

I dont think Harry is having a pop at THFC or its players, its a pop at the fucking media!!!

That would be their last England appearance I would think. They'd be as much use as a one legged man in an arse kicking competition

That's just a stupid comment.

Say what you like about Redknapp but that's just bullshit of the highest order. Did that make sense when it was in your head?

First thing I thought other than the immediate 'shut it Harry', was that some may have known they had no chance of playing and didn't fancy spending all that time to train with and then watch England play from the side. Not saying it's right but I could see their point of view if it was that. Unless Harry is talking absolute bobbins

Truth hurts. Man up grow a pair and face facts, players do not want to play for their country. Nothing new in that one.

Everything that any of them utter irt us is negative.

He's a xxxx and needs to shut his fat wobbly face and go take his dog for a long fuck-off walk.

Unlike like you Twitchy; took your eye off the ball and blew our best chance ever, because of the England job among other things!!!!.

You say it's stupid and bullshit but don't give any indication why.
In the context of Harry's quotes and interviews
I usually found Harry glib, and superficial.
Anything for a laugh and to suck up to to his fellow journalists
no matter how contradictory his remarks were.
Another example of Harry being controversial and headline grabbing
for the sake of it and I simply don't believe it.
