Always best to wait till the seasons underway :)

Let’s hope for a speedy recovery.

Let’s hope he comes back stronger.

I really, really do hope he comes back rejuvenated, however I also think it’s funny how this announcement has come at the same time as him losing his place in the team due to poor performances. As I say I really do hope he comes back in top form and he’s not just clutching at straws for excuses now, for maybe not being the player everyone, including himself, hoped that he was.

I don't think he'd be having surgery if it was just an excuse. Also, I'm not aware that he has been openly using this injury as justification for his form.

Tbh I think he started playing a lot better, his just missing goals
You’re right mate. The issue is, it’s hard to see it when he’s not scoring goals and I’ll admit I’m guilty of not looking at his overall game. I was hoping that he would have come in and start banging in the goals.
