Richarlison would be a great buy for us. I am sold on him having watched good amount of Watford games. Watford slump is mainly down to their manager who took his eye of management when Everton came calling. Ever since, Watford have suffered & so did the players.

All things considered, he has scored 5 goals & 5 assists in 20 PL games. That very good for a 20 yr old in first season of PL.

With a focused management, better players & a lethal striker upfront, he will be massive signing for us.

He’s more than just a tricky Brazilian which is what I love about his play. He works his butt off and isn’t afraid to get dirty. Could be more clinical, but lord our whole front line can be. Would prefer him 100x over Zaha and would be 1/2 the price

Definitely this. Zaha is still hit and miss - more hit this season than before but still not quite the level of a top player, which for the price they'd ask you'd expect him to be. Richarlison, with some time and coaching, could reach that level a bit quicker. Alternatively, is there a player like this we could look at before they move? but then again, Gremio are charging 30-50m for Arthur Melo so maybe there aren't bargains anymore :D

Reminds me a bit of Chadli, lacks that absolute explosive pace.

Lennon had pace but was not great 1v1. Richarlison combines pace with trickery like Zaha that makes him more potent & better in one on one. And he is very strong in the air and gets into box & finishes better than Zaha

More Watford get dragged into relegation fight this Jan, more higher his price will go.

This. Plus the TV money now means all teams have a decent amount of cash knocking around and very few find themselves 'in need' of selling key players.

Better to have the player and stay in the PL than not.

Zaha is currently a way better finisher which is not only reflected in the statistics but also if you watch both of them as well. Agree with your other points though.

Getting in the position to score is just as if not more vital than actual finishing.

Yet Zaha scores less goals. Getting in the position to score is just as if not more vital than actual finishing.

IMO, Zaha always wants do one more trick to get a penalty than take the shot on target.

Sure, but Richarlison has both scored and created more goals than Zaha this season. Zaha has the pace, and the ability to take people on, Richardlison is more of a dynamic livewirey player.

The main similarity they have is both love to dive.

Zaha has been great this season and is starting to finally fulfill some of his potential. Richarlison looks promising but imo it's a bit soon yet to be thinking about him. I'd give it another year, see how he gets on next season and if he looks the real then go for him then.

Agreed on general play . But Richarlison is not a serial diver as you make out. He does go down dramatically attimes, like every other South American player. Zaha is a diver. period.

Whenever I've watched him Richarlison goes down so easily.

Would be a massive gamble to pay over the odds for him in January. He's been looking good but it's such a small sample-size and so you can't rule out that he's just having a good run of form. I'd want to wait until at least the summer to see how consistent he can be and even then it'd be a gamble

Seen much of him? Nope

Would I take him? Yep

(that sum up the general feeling!)
