Not necessary personally. Good prospect as are a lot of young English players and our own Connor Ogilvie plus we have Jaden Brown.

I do worry about Ogilvie, seems to have somewhat stagnated the last couple years.

Scouts attending games does not usually equate to anything more than covering bases. Although agents wouldn't be doing their jobs if they didn't make the absolute most of it to journalists.

Rose has had an excellent season and seem to improve by each game (knock wood!), but I would not be against Rico Henry at Spurs if he indeed is such a great talent as this site claim. But I have never seen him play so have no grounds to judge him.
Lots of things can happen with Jaden Brown and Ogilvie - they can go on to become top EPL players or ....

Seems he is quite versatile, he's played LB, CB, LM and CM this season.

Don't think there is anything to worry about. I think time feels like it goes so much quicker for youth players. Realistically at the start of last season he was being highlighted as one to watch by Pochettino, coming off an excellent couple of years in teh academy. He then got injured just after that piece of ITK and we didn't see him for a while so it felt like eh was missing for ages, as we had expected him to be really high up in the pecking order

When he came back in the 2nd half of the season he was putting in performances that weren't of his usual standard I assume due to him returning from injury. He put in a couple of really good performances but generally wasn't at his best. Similar to Oduwa actually who got injured and wasn't his normal self at the start of thsi year.

Since Ogilvie has now gone on loan, and though I can't find a forum that is really detailed, I have seen on twitter Stevenage fans praising him and I bumped into Sheringham a few months back and he said Ogilvie can really play. So I am getting the feeling he is having a good time at Stevenage this season. He is getting up and down the wing and has scored and assisted a few I think.

I would definitely like to have a look at him in preseason. His problem is that he has Rose and Davies ahead of him. So hopefully could do with a Championship loan next year

Maybe there is some serious interest from Spurs after all - if one is to believe The Express...but, since when did Levy agree to such a deal for any player...

However, a source has told the Daily Express that Spurs are in talks with Walsall and have told the Saddlers they’ll pay ‘whatever it takes’ to sign the full-back.

Tottenham winning race to sign Arsenal target Rico Henry after opening talks with Walsall – report

Tottenham are reportedly beating Arsenal in the race to sign Rico Henry after Mauricio Pochettino’s side opened talks with Walsall.

The 18-year-old defender recently signed a new contract with the League One side but they’re resigned to losing the teenager to the might of Premier League clubs.

Arsenal were thought to be leading the race to sign the left-back, who has been compared to former Gunner Ashley Cole.

However, a source has told the Daily Express that Spurs are in talks with Walsall and have told the Saddlers they’ll pay ‘whatever it takes’ to sign the full-back.

‘Henry is perfect for the Spurs side that Mauricio Pochettino wants to build – and the lad can play left midfield as well so has real versatility,’ a source told the Daily Express.

‘It’s going to be a question of the right price because everyone is watching the situation carefully.’

Possibly another Alli type deal, signed this January, but left there until the summer. Thats my guess.

If this is true, I wonder if it means the powers that be think that Davies isn't up to it long term. Three specialist LB's may be overkill, not including the LB's in the academy or on loan, and Davies is only 22.

Best part is the one who was slagging off the youth gave that post an "agree".

Davies can also play CB - has done for Wales. Still - don't think we're in the business of stockpiling any more...

For me Davies is a decent player who has good potential and nothing more. He's no world beater, but with this Rico Henry kid i've seen him play and he has the talent and we could have another Dele Alli transfer on our hands, hope we get him.

As soon as he plays for the U21s would he become a shit player?
