Far from it, we've been linked with him for at least 12 months and have previously had itk on him. He's an exciting talent and I'd much rather add another promising youngster than go out and waste money on more average stocking fillers.

Bazoer is highly talented and being chased by some of the best teams in Europe. Winks has played very well and deserves his place in the 1st team squad. Onomah although talented has yet to find a position that suits him. It's a squad game and as it stands we lack depth. Bazoer in Carroll out.

Just because he's talented doesn't mean he'll come in and crush it - look at Memphis or Janssen. With Wanyama, Dier, Dembele and Winks he either won't get game time and won't develop, or Winks won't, and I want to see him with 6 months playing regularly.

I think he looks like a great, young box to box midfielder. Maybe the player we WISHED Paulinho had been. Can take on his man and has an eye for a pass. What's not to like?

Talented player but I can't see us going for him unless it's a cut price bargain basement deal, and that won't happen.

Reading up about him it sounds like he is earmarked as a future defensive midfielder so would be more of a threat to Wanyama and Dier than Winks.

If this is true the Draxler will be sold IMO
