The Rogers Cup! You are getting desperate now :ROFLMAO:

When you look at the competition a drug free Djokovic should, and did, win that so it fits in perfectly just before Rio.

My point still stands and is valid.

So a drug free Djokovic should easily past by Berdych and Nishikori but not by Delpo? Okay, got it (y)

That was sarcasm in case you missed it.

Am I the only one here who always gets super emotional watching the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic games? Its been happening to me since Sidney I think.

Like really, when they were turning the flame yesterday and that Brazilian lady was singing I almost started crying... and I really felt my skin going cold when the IOC guy declared the games officially closed. I know it's probably all for show, but I really swallow it all up and I don't give a fuck.

I just get sad that my life is fucking rushing by and I measure it in world cups and olympic games which only come around every 4 years, then i get bit down :)

Thank fuck we have dedicated athletes, willing to put everything on the line to reach their dreams in the Olympics, totaly inspiring and makes me proud to be a brit, but if I had to rely on that shower of shit in the footy for inspiration I'd be in a mental home :D

I just realised... she finished sixth.. she cant even win a race against women. So even without semenya she will have finished fifth.

Maybe she is just shit? Just putting it out there.

Considering the first three are men if they were not racing she would have finished third and won a bronze medal.

That's the point she was making.

Next time think before you reply!

I dunno what the hell this 'Sport' is on BBC1 right now but there's no way it should be in the Olympics....it's just a load of dancers with ribbons.

You think that's bad, I put the football on at the weekend and there were a load of football fans cheering at a bunch of bubbles.

No animosity here and I am perfectly relaxed as always :)

Hence my comment "Next time think before you reply!" so you wouldn't look as foolish as you do right now.

No, it's a slap forehead moment but you have thanked me for correcting you so it is all good now :)

You seem to be aiming a few digs at other posters in this thread, I would suggest really reading what your about to post so your not coming across as aggressive or abusive

OK...what did this Sidney fella do to you???

I didn't watch the Rio opening or closing ceremonies but do remember the London ceremonies and there was a bit with Emili Sande singing Read all About it and every time I hear that song now I get goosebumps...

Okay, I appreciate the correction... even though I love geography I sometimes mess it up with the spelling of certain cities (probably because I rarely get to write their names, I just love seeing them in maps and reading about them).

Semenya finished 2 seconds outside the world record . The world record and Olympic record have stood since the 1980s. Nobody seriously believes these athletes were clean the authorities need to get to the bottom of it once and for all.

Kratochvilova (still world record holder) was built like a brick shithouse and had muscles in places I haven't got places. Everyone knew at the time that she was a laboratory product.

In one race, instead of a winning tape, they had a brick wall, and she just ran straight through that as well.*

*May not be true, but look at her!

(Though to be fair, she did really well for someone with half a leg missing)

More muscular than a lot of sportsmen.

Flo Jo is another one she came from average to brilliant , no one can get near to her records, not even Marion Jones on drugs. Retires at 28, dies 10 years later.

They're obviously not men and your calling them so shows tremendous amounts of ignorance and is massively transphobic.

These 'intersex' people can't help it can they, they are not produced in a lab, but instead born that way.

Some are good at sports, most are shit.

As long as no 'third party' drugs are used, let them be.
