Heartbreaking story, but what an inspirational kid he is.
Defoe was crying in his presser earlier, must have been told that it was very close.
Sleep tight little man.
You touched all our lives.
+ JD - I often wondered if modern day footballers cared - you have proved to me that some do. So proud of you too.
JD should get a knighthood imho.
He mentioned in that presser that he'd been told by the family it was 'a matter of days' so I think that's what choked him up so much.
I suppose knowing it was inevitable still doesn't prepare you for when it actually happens, thoughts to his family and JD.
RIP little fella.
When they knight sportsmen for winning the ashes I'm not sure that goes far enough tbh, it's the least he deserves.
I don't think he would want it for this.
I think there was mention of SPOTY. Think he deserves it to be fair.
RiP young man, I'm sure he will be watching his 2 loves from the heavens above, Sunderland and Defoe
RIP, brave boy and a sad end, but we knew it was coming.
Hope a cure is found in the future.
aw man, just seen this, had such a huge heart for someone so small.
RIP little man.
Yeah, very sad, awful awful news. This kind of thing really haunts me after having my first child. It must be tearing the parents apart inside. RIP little guy.
Brave kid with a massive personality. Glad he got to live his final year in such style.
RIP Bradley, condolences to the family.
Good on JD for making his last year such a special one.
RIP Bradley. Well done to everyone that made his life that little bit better.
RIP brave lad.
A true fighter and a wonderful example to anybody who finds themselves in a similar life threatening situation. He may not have come through his terrible ordeal but he dealt with it by showing a courage far beyond his early years. He has touched the hearts of people from all walks of life and will always be remembered in the footballing world as a supporter beyond compare.
Sleep well little man....you are not forgotten.
