Sleep tight little man.

You touched all our lives.

+ JD - I often wondered if modern day footballers cared - you have proved to me that some do. So proud of you too.

Defoe was crying in his presser earlier, must have been told that it was very close.
He mentioned in that presser that he'd been told by the family it was 'a matter of days' so I think that's what choked him up so much.
I suppose knowing it was inevitable still doesn't prepare you for when it actually happens, thoughts to his family and JD.
RIP little fella.

RIP, brave boy and a sad end, but we knew it was coming.

Yeah, very sad, awful awful news. This kind of thing really haunts me after having my first child. It must be tearing the parents apart inside. RIP little guy.

A true fighter and a wonderful example to anybody who finds themselves in a similar life threatening situation. He may not have come through his terrible ordeal but he dealt with it by showing a courage far beyond his early years. He has touched the hearts of people from all walks of life and will always be remembered in the footballing world as a supporter beyond compare.
Sleep well little man....you are not forgotten.
