Former Newcastle midfielder Cheick Tiote has died today, at the age of 30, following a heart attack at the training ground of Bejing Enterprises.

Probably best remembered for his thunder-bastard of a goal against Arsenal.

I think, as @DaSpurs has mentioned a few times, this is likely a condition that pretty much exclusively (I believe) impacts black athletes. Really desperately sad.
