Thats awful. I felt terrible for him while he was with us. A player of his quality deserved far better than the shambles that he got. He was signed to be a playmaking sweeper in a back three and can't have played there more than once or twice. The rest of the time he was playing in a 2 (which wasn't his game at all), at left back (also not his position) or in DM (where at least he could use some of his skill set although the players around him meant the side had absolutely no balance to it what so ever and poor old Bunji ended up playing mostly as a holding/ball winning player. A total and utter waste). I also vividly remember him being played at left wing once. God those days were dark.
