Terrible article embarrassed I took the time to read it.

For the most part I'm a big Levy fan but have reservations as to how much more progression we'll achieve under him.

The article states his "chairmanship has been an unmitigated disaster" which even the biggest anti-Levy poster would acknowledge is nonsense.

Pure, hyperbole nonsense.

What utter crap. The squad is young and talented. The training complex is one of the best in the world and we are building a new stadium to house our huge waiting list of supporters. We are playing in the top league in the world and on our day there is no one we should fear. I'm not a BSODL, he makes errors. But Levy always tries to fixx things for the long term. Poch looks like the winner we hoped AVB would be and I reckon that the future is pretty bright.

What a piece of shit.

Before Levy we were finishing bottom-half and were in all sorts of debt.

Since Levy we have broken into the top4 have the best training ground in the league and possibly a new stadium on the way.

Ok some managerial appointments have been a bit questionable as have some signings but on the whole he has only moved the club forward since he has been in charge. Plus we have not been 'great' since mabye the 80's, bollocks article.

A poor article that takes a germ of truth and uses it to write propaganda. I'd give it more credence if the writer at least got his facts right. For example, his opening paragraph:
Way back in time before football began in England, if you believe in the Sky TV led hype which has surrounded the Premier League since its inception in 1992, Spurs were considered as one of the leading forces of the game, along with Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal.
It was, in fact, a 'big 5', and in addition to those cited it included the still-dormant ManUre. The 'big four' is a Sky marketing invention and - needless to say - came along after the start of the Sky broadcasting era.

Utter bilge, from beginning to end.

lol, that closing line was pure gold:

"Levy really needs to stop throwing money at this project, if they are ever to become a force again Tottenham Hotspur require an absolute overhaul of their football operations from top to bottom and there is currently one man out there readily available who would crawl over broken glass to assist in the rebuilding of this once revered institution.

His name is Glenn Hoddle.
"

I actually think we were on the cusp of achieving great things on several occasions, but the universe conspired against us when
  1. we ate some dodgy lasagna
  2. harry whored himself out to the press for the england job
  3. harry declined a move for suarez
  4. levy refused to sanction a big spend for a good striker
Amongst others. But just thinking back that we had a team that included an established world class player in Rafa, rising stars in Modric and Bale those costly late in the season defeats to Norwich and Fulham meant we had to reset the clock and rebuild again.

Levy may not be the right man to lead us to greatness, but by god, he has funded us to get us some quite superb players before they become great, is tantalisingly close to expanding WHL to compete with the best in Europe, has already gotten us a fantastic training centre and raised the profile of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club from the days of Gerry Francis and Stuart Nethercott to Hugo Lloris and Jan Vertonghen (no disrespect intended).

What I like about Danny Boy is that he (I think) balances the supporter in him with the need to keep us afloat. Think Leeds, Shef Wed, Bradford and even Man City a few years ago.

"Rob Devine" sounds like somebody planning a grape heist.

And that's as much attention as I shall pay him.

I cannot say that I am a great Levy fan as some of his hiring and firing have gone amiss. However I do feel he puts Spurs first and upmost and wants to make the club great again within the constraints of balancing the books. We are getting there and showing a level of consistency with our league positions. We have a good squad and hopefully Poch can push us into a top four side. It is frustrating. I have been a loyal Spurs fan since 1961 with all the ups and downs.......and yes rage and frustration bearing in mind our previous track record up until the early 80's. Scholar screwed up, Sugar brought us back from the financial brink tried his best but also made dumb hand to mouth decisions to try and placate the fans. Best Managers were Nicholson, Berkinshaw and Pleat. The first was God. Berkinshaw carried on the Spurs tradition until he fell out with the board. He famous statement on departure was, there used to be a great football club here, which said it all. Pleat produced a great side in 1987 but it lacked some steel....great team. Unfortunately he got hammered by the for kerb crawling. I believe we are now on the threshold of potentially a great team again. I could be wrong but I hope not.
I would not wipe my arse with the Metro let alone risk any form of contamination picking up or reading it. It's CRAP and a waste of good pulp.
Levy maybe an arrogant twat at times but he is Yid at heart not an American doughnut, not a Russian playboy or an Arab sheik spending money for ego.
The squad is looking good and finally we may at last have a Manager who shares our dream and will take us there. We are also in the process of building a new stadium. The moment is ripe.
Let's share our frustration as Spurs supporters but also support the Chairman, Manager, Club and Team. We believe we will have the Glory again.....onwards and upwards.

This article is hilarious.
Spurs league finishes since 2005
5,5,8,4,5,4,5,6
Nightmare
Also there wasn't a big 4. That was brought in when champs
League went to 4. It was a big 6 which were Liverpool,
Everton, Spurs, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Man United. Villa have been replaced by Man City and Chelsea to pretty much make a big 7.

I think most of the article is spot on. We were a revered club, now we're seen as a joke. I think that Levy has done a lot of good for the club and we are at least consistently the 'best of the rest'.

For me the most interesting benchmark is how we compare with our two London rivals. We have been eclipsed by both of them in the past 15 years Chelscum's rise is artificial but the Arse's successes have been down to excellent planning and club management.

As the man says, 1 league cup in over 10 years. Frankly that's pathetic for a top club.

Love the fact they use a picture of two signs which, if my memory is working right, were being held by two homeless looking guys, on their own, and were the size of a sheet of A4 paper.

Fight the power, man.
You're spot on....and they were being ridiculed and laughed at because, let's face it, it was ridiculous .
