We don't need anyone flashy. Just someone reasonably comfortable on the ball who can sit in there and allow Eriksen and Alli to play.
Personally I would rather we just stick with Winks. I have watched him a lot, he is more defensive then creative and would often play DM for Inter although really he is a b2b. His passing rang is not good enough imo. He does have a lot of energy and gets around the pitch a lot. But really I feel he would be another player we would be trying to ship out in a season or two. Would have preferred Gomes and I don't rate Gomes.

I will say this, watching Amos play at DM - he plays a lot differently than Dier (or even Wanyama) in terms of his overall mobility. Maybe Poch wants to have 3 CMs who are dynamic and in constant motion.

Have no idea how this relates to Gagliardini - but if he is more B-to-B - that might suggest a bit more dynamic.

I think Winks would play as an 8.

This guy seems to be more of a 6.

So this?

Gagliardini/Wanyama

Eriksen/Grealish --------- Allí/Winks
We need someone quite defensive tbh. But someone decent on the ball who won't crap themselves when pressed.
But that's the problem inter have with him, he's not good enough as a DM and he often goes forward. His positioning and tackling is not good enough to be considered purely a DM. Essentially he is a box to box busy body who doesn't really have any stand out skills apart from being energetic but as inter have no decent DMs until now he would often play there. Considering our issue with home grown numbers we should steer well clear imo.

Does anyone know anything about this guy? That isn't the result of googling a minute ago.

Nah but considering the Sports Mole was running this story today ... Well, yeah.

To be honest @WiganSpur I'm probably being a little overly harsh on the kid, as I've mentioned before Inter are my second team and I find him really frustrating. He could have been a good player but he just never really developed. I fully expect him to be sold/loand/co owned to a mid table Italian team at some point. But they may hang on to him due to him being Italian. I just don't think he's good enough for us.

I’m slightly confused why he’s being described as a 6 or a DM. He’s more of an 8. Definitely not a holding player.

He’s a confidence player and he’s lost a lot of it in a slightly chaotic inter side. If I could give an exciting young player some advice I would say STAY CLEAR OF THE MILAN SIDES. They’ll wreck you.

As said, he's a b2b but as you know Inter often play him as a DM for lack of alternatives. Your right about how inter treat youth players. At least they are giving karamoh a chance, he looks a talent although very raw.

Ha yeah, he did look good back then It's a shame that pinamonti looks like he's going to be going down the drain as well. Hardly gets a look in. Hopefully he gets a good loan and can become Icardis no2. Don't hold out much hope tho.

Yep...he was a great hope. With Lauturo Martinez coming in it doesn’t look good.

Hope he goes to Atalanta or Torino or somewhere and smashes it.
