I think Valancia have hard time to raise the money for Postiga. That is why there is delays.

If I was Levy I'd end the arrangement we have with Real Madrid (their tapping up of Bale must be illegal surely?) and try and form a new one as part of this deal with Valencia. Offer to help them with player loans etc. with a first option on players moving between the clubs. If they are that bad financially it might work.

Maybe offer them Ade too as part of the deal, with us paying a part of his wage?

I don't know, these special arrangements don't seem to do much good for us! Oscar to Chelsea, Damiao flogged to every other club in Europe, Bale tapped up, not a Real Madrid player to be seen in our squad...These special arrangements seem to be we agree to apply the vaseline ourselves before a buggering.

There's a poster outside my building in New York featuring Soldado today. Fate? I say it is!

I would have posted but last night on Foroche someone posted Soldado to Liverpool for £30 million done- clearly balls because it's not been picked up on RAWK, other than that at the Valencia end their very worried about their replacements, the prospect of having to sell Banega next season to stay afloat and a poster called Coverdale has got a very interesting signature which would go straight into Manwhore's mansion.

You want ever get any reliable info from RAWK. There is no-one on that forum who hears anything other than whats in media. TLW, and lesser so ESst1892 is a much better forums for that sort of thing.

You have to remember though that on LFC ITK (including me and the best connected Journos) all that's ever passed on is what the Club WANT or BELIEVE to be their truth. Same for most clubs.

For example, someone criticised me for posting we weren't interested in the player then 2 days later saying the opposite. Thats the nature of ITK. For all clubs. My info comes from my friend who works for probably the national Newspaper with best links into LFC (mainly because nearly all their writers/reporters are die-hard Reds and started at Liverpool Echo which has direct line into Ayre).

He was told when the Fail first linked us with Soldado that we had no interest at all and wasnt the type of ST BR would want. Few days later the link intensified so my mate asked the club again for clarification and was told we are now interested and will pay the release fee once Suarez saga was sorted. Their are several reasons why the Club could of changed its private briefing, maybe to sooth fanbase in light of losing best player, as well as many others as part of the whole circus and game of the transfer window.

I'll I can do, and any ITK at any Club, is post what LFC are briefing behind the scenes. It won't always be 100% on the money, no ITK ever is due to the games Clubs/Agents play, but getting from inside the Club, in terms of info, is as good as it gets I'm afraid, and you just have to hope the Club are telling the truth to their favoured sources, but it is much more reliable then getting info from Agents, players, staff, players parents etc.

Anyway, this my cheer you up, LFC are considering going Legal/official on Arse over tapping up Suarez due to their very precise £40,000,001m bid. They have never had permission to speak to Suarez/Agent, so there is no way they should of known the precise nature of the clause and then made that bid. LFC made same mistake with Christian Ziege and his release clause and got done for it so were quite savvy in this side of the games laws.

Seems they are striking out on replacements, or perhaps, just settling

I tried to translate as best I could. Google flopped with this one, so I did my best.

Plan B with Postiga and Sergio Garcia

Salvo's desire to bring a crack hits a poor economic situation, but they will try to finish

C. BOSCH AND A. SANTAMARÍA
Amadeo excepted to bring Fred, and he had asked for a transfer of Chicharito Hernandez, but Djukic is short. The competition is getting closer and the economy worse than they had imagined. So Djukic announced in the press room that the club has a Plan B to all cases, whether it brings an end to Roberto Soldado being retained or not. For the technician, even with Soldado in the team, he wants more forward, as we had reported a few days ago.So, with Plan B there are a number of forwards who fit the profiles Djukic and Braulio have agreed on, and are also in the economic parameters that will work for the club, even in its worst scenario.
On that list are players are the likes of Hélder Postiga international for Portugal, and Sergio Garcia, who also was with Roja at the 2008 Euros. He is currently (under control by?) Zaragoza and Espanyol. Between the two clubs, they will not pretend to accept a transfer fee from Valencia under six million euros and Postiga, at least from what we have been told, have already an economic agreement.
For Plab B there are alternatives, such as the Croatian Kalinic, who currently plays for Ukrainian Dnipro dle and contemplate what he would give up for Valencia, because after two years in those lands, it is crazy to leave. They are looking into the type of striker of Valdez's profile, which is what Djukic is claiming. The club is also looking at Getafe striker Adrian Colunga.
Is it end are there really options? Can we expect more amateur players? With Valencia, that is the commitment of its president, to try and give a knock of [Soldado's transfer's] effect to an end. His idea is to bring a great amateur player who motivates and help to boost the image of Valencia..

How about reading the article?

VALENCIA. Roberto Soldado Valencia again. The Valencia striker is quoted in this morning in the sports city of Paterna, to pass the relevant analytical and medical tests. The player would rather not have to return to training after taking the decision to leave.

The key moment of the day is at eight o'clock, when e l revisit Valencia striker Mestalla to watch the match between Valencia and Milan. Is it time to see the reaction to the Valencia Coliseum, until a few weeks ago, was its referent.
Soldier still waiting for that Tottenham or Liverpool will decide to make the final offer and can go to the Premier League, because, even though the president and the coach have tried to defend their professionalism if eventually run, Valencia striker knows that his image has been badly damaged in the face to the fans.
Tottenham meanwhile, has not yet returned to bid for the player after last Monday to meet with the president of Valencia. Franco Baldini returned to London without agreement and with the caveat that not negotiate Except for less than 30 million in two installments of 15. Liverpool still waiting to know if sold to Luis Suarez to launch into the Spanish striker.

The player has remained on the sidelines during their holidays but eventually must return to training because his transfer has not yet been finalized. In the coming days we will have solution for Soldier, but most likely the front end leaving.
Not sure on the bid, but the last paragraph tells us we'll have a solution in the coming days, with it likely he'll leave.

The word from the journalist their end is that Postiga has been lined up for a couple of weeks and now that everything is agreed with him. Hernandez is on EUR 7 million salary, Osvaldo is too expensive, Fred is too expensive, Soldado was (is) on EUR 1.5 million. They have no money, answer, Postiga who currently earns EUR 1 million.

It's like buying a house, that's the last bit to fix, everyones moving day.

He's denying he wants Postiga personally and is leaving the choice up to manager and director but will get involved in the negotiations for the fee?

Also saying (not sure) that Soldado and the club have no issue regarding the potential transfer and he's still a committed Valencia player...

Think the Soldado bit is saying he's fully committed to them until he leaves. Showing a huge amount of respect to the club that helped him massively.

I still get the impression from my very shit Spanish that they are almost resigned to him going. "Till the very last second he is a Valencia player" etc. obvious they want Postiga but prices aren't discussed and it depends in their finances if they get him. I've never studied Spanish !
