God this thread is depressing.
Such optimism.
Wtf happened?
How can Soldado have become so bad?
Surely it cant be as simple as he's not suited to PL can it.
Guess we'll never know.

missing easy chances cant have anything to do with not being suited to the premier league. If he wasn't suited he wouldn't have got the chances. Two excellent former Liverpool strikers lost their ability too young, Fowler and the guy that Chelsea wasted a fortune on but the name escapes me.

What a completely pointless bump.

U mad?

I genuinely think its an interesting read. Most were so sure and some even invented attributes he never had to justify the purchase. It just goes to show that throwing money around willy nilly doesn't necessarily equal success.

The best thing about this thread was a gif of an infrared cock going from limp to erect after some news about Soldados signing being imminent.

Pretty sad that I've gone from thinking like most people in this thread in August 2013 I.e. He's amazing, to, on Saturday, genuinely thinking Dier or Kaboul would have been better options upfront late on!

Shame it hasn't worked out as he is a nice footballer and showed some nice touches on Saturday when he came on. Kane has showed what is required though and that is a driving force that makes things happen. I really wish this guy had made it with us as he has a real passion to succeed but the basic finishing has let him down.

For him I think the sooner the better he can get back to Spain and regain his mojo...

Mate, they still are! Someone told me the other day he makes intelligent runs and holds the ball up.
The most intelligent runs I've seen in 18 months is down the tunnel when he's been hooked.
As for holding the ball up. I doubt he'd keep it for long if he was actually holding it.
