Didn't Soldado have a pretty bad falling out with Valencia when he left? Especially in regards to his agent.

When I read about it I thought some bridges were definitely burned there.

I remember it not ending well. Something about broken promises with regards to Valencia's ambition.

Valencia has a new owner since a year ago; Peter Lim of Singapore. The season just concluded, they did quite well.

The annoying thing about Soldado is how low his shooting accuracy is compared to Valencia. Last season he was getting the chances but his finishing was atrocious. Other than that he generally shows a nice touch and clever interplay around the box. You wonder if he could flip a switch and get back to the Valencia form but I just don't think it will be with us.

Ultimately I would rather have him around as a third striker than Ade no show.

I am from Singapore.... Peter Lim will bank roll Valencia. He has never made a failed venture since 1980s.

If Valencia indeed wants Soldado back then there could be a deal. hope it works out.

About the right level I would say.

It's a shame it never worked for Soldado but give him his credit his attitude has been fantastic since he arrived. No blaming managers to the press or moaning about game time, he just seems to get on with it which is admirable.

Hope he gets the second chance he deserves at another club.
