Live Media Coverage

Tournament: FA Cup - Round 5

When: Sunday February 18th, 2018 - 1600 hrs

Stadium: Spotland

Team Form: Rochdale LDWWL Tottenham WDWWD (All competitions)

This will be the first competitive meeting of any kind between Rochdale and us.

Rochdale have lost their last six FA Cup ties against top flight opposition, since beating Coventry 2-1 in January 1971.

We have progressed from 16 of our last 17 FA Cup ties against lower league opponents, losing only to Leeds in the 4th round in 2012-13. We have not lost to a side in the 3rd tier or lower in the competition since 1988 (1-2 vs Port Vale). We are looking to reach the quarter - finals of the FA Cup in consecutive seasons for the first time since the 2001-02 campaign.

Rochdale have never reached the quarterfinals of the FA Cup, last making it this far in the 2002-03 campaign before losing to Wolves.

Harry made his professional debut at Spotland in January 2011, while turning out on loan for Leyton orient. He has scored seven goals in his last five FA Cup appearances.

If we beat Rochdale to advance to the quarter finals, we have a kind draw to advance to the semi-finals in that we have to face either Swansea or Sheffield Wednesday.

In Roman numeral terms, the year is MMXVIII and we usually win the cup when the year ends in a 1 ( I know its not the same but I am grasping here!). On a serious note, we have to make every effort of winning the cup, which will shut up the pundits and go into the new Stadium as Cup winners!

Grasping a bit seeing as MMXVIII doesn't even finish in a 1.

This isn't a game for skills or complacency... It's a game for rolling up sleeves, getting stuck in and getting the bloody job done. Otherwise it's another Newport situation and another potential fixture when we don't need it.

Had a dream last night that we won this match 1-0, so I'm lumping on that. Although our goalscorer was Scott Parker so I'm not sure what sort of odds I'd get at the bookies on him being FGS

I think this game now brings some pressure with the fact that we got a favourable QF draw

I expect us to win this and also the quarter final should we go through and have a feeling we will meet Chelsea in the semi-final with Utd v city in the other one.

Nah... the FA will want a "Pep v Jose" final.... cause that's "what the rest of the country will want, innit?"

As you've mentioned numbers, can I just point out its the 5th round of the FA Cup, not round 5. Now I know you tend to get wound up over such comments, but I also know you like things to be correct. :)

You mean like every single game should be?!

you can still do a professional job and add skill and flair in also, sometimes its whats needed to win the game.
