I wouldn't get a shirt signed, i would ask him to sign a picture, scarf or something else - yes, a shirt might be worth more financially in the future, but for a keepsake i prefer to be able to wear my shirts. Unless you buy a replica or a new shirt specifically to be signed, i'd not risk it. My luck i'd end up bundling it in with a hangover wash one Sunday.

Maybe get a nice pic of White Hart Lane for him to sign? Then you could keep it safe and maybe get other sigs from legends as you meet them?

this is what he handed me with his autograph, which I'm sure he gives out 100's every home game in the hospitality lounge, but I don't care:p

after seeing the size of his hands close up (didn't fancy a slap), plus the time of day i picked him up yesterday, I decided to give that option a miss:rolleyes:

Let us know how good a tipper he is :)....have a great time...he is a legend and an absolute gentleman.

he didn't give me a tip, but job went £327 so wasn't to disappointed

I never forget a day about 25 years ago...

I loved in Hornsmill and was on my way to Cheshunt by the back lanes, I had passed Brickendon Grange Golf Club and proceeding down the twisty bit towards Broxbourne Woods - on one tight narrow bend I spotted the front wheel of a bike and an immense pairs of hands on the handlebars - I knew only of one person who had hands that big, looked i at the rider and saw PJ himself ! Amazing.

as a Spurs fan that started going to the lane in 73/74 my true idol of that time was the great Pat Jennings.

This Sunday at 06:00am I will be picking him up from his home and taking him to St George's Park 130 miles with the great man in my taxi, I feel like a little kid with Xmas only being a few days away

I can't believe how brazen kidnappers are these days!
