Jose claims he was not "motivated" but with Chelski buying Diego Costa - on top of Torres, Schurrle, Drogba - not being "motivated" may not be the right term exactly...
He's still young and is keen on playing regular 1st team footy, so he can improve as a player and enjoy looking forward to match days.

The way I took his comments were that he lost motivation because mourinho wouldn't guarantee him a starting place.
Which is a little but at the same time, if I'd scored 60 odd league goals and Torres wad still ahead of me I think I'd kick off as well.

Fair play to Lukaku, he played there before and liked it and stuck with them. CAn't fault him & think he'll be a good player for them.

To be honest I don't think he suits Martinez's way of playing.

He wants the ball played early to him and use his physicality to makes things happen.

Martinez wants a higher ball retention, playing from midfield style of play.

Teams would still want Lukaku but whether anyone is willing to match the fee Everton paid for him is another matter,

His whole attitude seems to be based around what his talent deserves, quite sad really, Toffees must be real fucked off.

Its pretty tempting to be alarmed given that he was incredible at West Brom and on great form last season but has really not don much now he's moved permanently

Mourinho was right to get rid of him, his first touch isn't good enough most of the time.

He's good, but I don't think he's remotely close to being a world class forward.

Has a piss poor attitude and sense of entitlement, we should steer well clear of him as he seems like another Adebayor

Strange how he was scoring for fun on loan for teams to impress, and now he has a contract under his belt he isnt trying, isnt scoring and is sulking, reminds me of someone

What makes you think that? I liked the way that he left Chelsea because he wanted to actually play games rather than just sit on the bench. The recent comments about joining a top club weren't the smartest thing to say, but to be fair to him he said he wants to work on his game and develop first. And it's not like he wants to leave them now either.

I haven't seen much of Everton this year? Is he really the problem, or is it the issue the slow play the the manager has them playing?
