It's all rather too reminiscent of Scum Campbell's "race to be fit" for the FA Cup Semi against Arsenal in 2001. In the event he declared himself fit, put in a half-hearted, unprofessional performance, and announced his departure shortly afterwards. God forbid that history should be allowed to repeat itself....

Is Rose in demand as much anymore? I mean, i'd be nervous about his recent ongoing injury, and his age. Not sure he'll ever hit the heights of the last few years. If a silly offer comes in, I hope we sell (and it's nothing to do with what he did last summer!)

I've always thought clubs look at players ability of course and their performances too, but I've thought that they also look at what kind of man they are. This really influences clubs decisions when looking at players.

Surely clubs must be weary of him ?
