He's a young man living in a bubble. I can forgive as i understand his mistake but it does reshape my opinion of him knowing his true feelings. He deserves 100k a week imo and if spurs don't offer him that someday then he'll be justified in leaving. Should he work for less out of loyalty? I'm not convinced he should as its a 2 way street.

Should say, Davies earn the same or less? What about Dier or Trippier? Should Rose earn more than Toby, Jan or Dele?

In fairness we haven's skipped a beat without him, and if his sole motivation is money then he is at the wrong club.

Poch (and Levy) have made it quite clear in Poch's book where the Clubs philosophy lies, and it's not a get rich quick club for any player wishing to join or remain at, as Walker has found out.

No, I agree. I think 90% of the players that earns 10 premier league starts a season for us atm should be getting 80k+. Rose no different to our other FBs except he's been doing it longer so should be up to 100 on next contract.

Obviously our top top player's deserve more again.

Which we can't afford to do for all of them. Should we sell them?

It simply won't work like that.

None of us know the budget over the next few year's. I don't see it as impossible at all.

We know we can't afford to pay basically every first team player 80k+ a week.

Players signed contracts they were happy to do so at the time. If the club feels they deserve to be paid more, they'll uplift their contracts as they have done.

It's on a player by player basis and in some cases, players will earn less than they feel they should for a significant amount of time. They can either leave, with the club's permission or stick it out until the club decides they deserve an improved contract.

Saying players like Davies/Winks/Trippier etc should earn 80k a week is fine. But it won't happen. For example, if Davies wasn't happy (He is and he's not on 80k) he would have to find a club willing to pay him it. He won't. So the club will pay him what they see fit.
