I do love these random footballers who express an opinion that then becomes a headline. Anyone know who ex-Reading player and one time Spurs target Bobby Convey thinks we should sign? How about Rene Higuita? Maybe they don’t live near enough to the SSN studio in Osterley so their opinions don’t matter if they can’t be hauled in at a moments notice.

I'd certainly take Wilson. Quality footballer with good physical attributes (dodgy knees aside). The prices being talked about are crazy however, especially with his injury record.

For around 25mil it would be a great purchase. Bournemouth would never deal at that figure though it seems.

How much would he be in this market right now, £30,40 mill? Bournemouth wont wanna sell, don't need to sell, and know Spurs are desperate. So hike that cost up anywhere around £70m.

So we can put this idea to bed I think.

Well Dion Dublin says Wilson is worth £50m. And he should know because he does Homies Under The Hammer.

According to reports they've been quoting Chelsea £75m.

So yeah it's a non-starter. We are not going to be spending that big on a striker.

I rather we got Brooks from B'mouth and played him either side of Alli behind a main

Not sure why we don't try Dele up top occasionally. I know he's great at those late runs but he'd be the obvious person I'd put there with Son away. Tall, strong, good in the air, skilful, knows how to finish, way more mobile than Llorente, happy to give defenders a whack too. Sorted :)
