All this "he's running his contract down" is fuckin bull shit and the Everton fans need to wise the fuck up.

He made it clear to Everton with PLENTY of time that he wanted out and they've had ample opportunity to cash in on him. Before he got injured as well.

It serves Barkely in no way to run down his contract and ensure that the club get nothing for him. If Everton fans want someone to blame they should stop looking at the boy and start looking at their owners.

Idiots.

There's potential for us to move for him at the end of the month imo if we think he's coping well with the injury. If Chelsea haven't already snapped him up and if he continues to respond well fitness wise then we might have a go for him.

Chelsea 1/3 aswell which seems pretty ridiculous

I think he's off to Chelsea. Bookies are never that far wrong and Tony Scott who is 'Digital Reporter' for the Liverpool Echo just tweeted. He has 13.3k followers...What doesn't make sense is, why did RB turn them down in the summer if it wasn't because he wanted to come to us?! If he goes there he's an absolute idiot.

Fully expect Ross Barkley to be wearing the blue of Chelsea next month.

These clowns on twitter get it wrong all the time ,don’t care if he has 130k followers.

I wonder how fit he is. Surely he's not going to be starting anywhere for at least a month.

I get what you're saying but bookies mean literally nothing, they just react to what people put money on. I remember in the summer there was some itk on sessegnon and suddenly loads of people on here put money on it and odds kept getting shorter and shorter but it never happened

Also yeah twitter rarely gets anything right, if a journo actually knows something you can bet they arent putting it up on twitter for everyone to see where they don't get any juicy ad revenue

I like Barkley and think he would be a great addition to the squad especially at the price he is likely to go for. It's a no-brainer for me and I can see why Poch wants him.
I agree, whats not to like? A win win as far as I am concerned.

Like others I have zero interest in what bookies are saying.

He may well end up at Chelsea but he could've joined them in the summer and chose not to for whatever reason. The suggestion being that he knows we want him and he wants to play for Poch.

Ultimately he's a gamble for whichever team buys him as there's no guarantee that he comes back from this injury the same player. If we miss out then so be it, we'll find someone better in the same way we did when we got Eriksen after Willian chose Chelsea. He enjoys warming their bench mostly these days if I recall.
