RLC is a strange one to be linked with given that there is more chance of John Terry being appointed as a 'Kick It Out' ambassador than Chelsea being willing to sell a player to us.

I agree with you, but hows that saying go? "You miss all the shots you don't take," right?

There's no harm in inquiring, and if it turns up unexpected results, then great, if it doesn't then we've lost nothing.

I doubt we have a chance with RLC, though genuine interest. The football fraternity is very ‘lodge-ish’. It gets around that you are refusing to deal with certain clubs, for whatever reason. It then begins to backfire on you (Chavs), and you find out you don’t have the support of your fellow members. There are already a very strong dislike to everything Chav, within the walls of the elite.

Dear to say, that I am sure there is a lot of glee and gloating. Everyone is watching how they treat and deal with their fellow members in the pursuit of one of their own players.

He'd be a good buy however if we get Grealish and Winks Onomah are added to our squad/ team then we can pass.

Good player always liked RLC he is more a Dembele type but imo I believe Onomah has a higher level...it's obviously not proven yet.

I think we would all love to pull one over on Chelsea and see everyone laugh at them after all their shit over the years. I think any negativity you are seeing towards a deal is a combination of imaptience - we want deals now and any dealing with Chelsea or United will be protracted with high failure probability and for RLC after World Cup so very short deal window - and just our general anxiety about what our approach is in this shortened window.

Should be starting ahead of Lingard for England. Poch would take him to the next level. Shame he's at Chelsea.

As much as I like RLC, if not getting him continues with us refusing to sell anyone half decent to Chelsea I'm cool with that.

Was so glad when Levy told them to fuck off on Modric.

I daresay he feels the same

A bundesliga move does seem more likely though eh

Completely agree. He really is a fantastic prospect, one that has been completely stifled by being at Chelsea.

If we could get him and Martial I would be over the moon

Why are Chelsea short of cash? I thought they had millions of plastic fans and income from Nike and Yokohama Tyres sponsorship to be self sufficient without Roman having to lend them more roubles.

Sadly you're right. My Chelsea supporting son loves him and thinks he should be starting games for them ahead of Willian and Pedro. He's not wrong. I hope he starts against Panama, we need that in midfield.

? I hope you are especially cruel to him

I reckon Chelsea will keep him and he'll play for them next season. Although, even if they did sell there is no chance in hell it would be to us

Probably the only realistic player we have been linked with that gets me excited. Progressive, strong as an ox and skilful too, with a good eye for a pass.
