And so it begins again.

Wales getting thumped at home by Ireland, 3-30 as I write.

England v Scotland at 4.

Ireland could well lose this. We've not come out for the 2nd half at all.

I'd be very surprised if Ireland lose this - Wales are still two converted tries + behind - but this is the proverbial game of two halves.

Going to be tough to get a better game than that during the 6 nations. Most physical game I've ever seen and played at incredible speed. I'm exhausted from watching it.

it was a cracking first game! england vs scotland seems to be ok, just too many mistakes.

Hard to say who will win it this year, all teams seem to have improved since last year.

Disappointed to concede two tries against a limited Scotland side but England looked quite fluid at times. Hardest fixture is next week IMO.

Except Wales. They looked absolutely diabolical in the first half. Barely made Ireland work for it. BOD is still god though.

Still my pick for Lions captain. People are going mad over Zebo flicking a leg at a lost cause of a ball but BOD's part in Ireland's first try was sublime and ten times better.

Makes it very interesting now- very hard for France to win it now which based on yesterday will put it down to a straight England Ireland shoot out

France can still win the championship. If everyone plays to their potential and taking in to account fixtures France could take it by points difference over the Irish.

As it stands though Ireland are favourites given the fixtures. Will probably change weekly though! Great start to the tournament

What a great start to the tournament. On the basis of the first three games England will probably be favourites even more than they were before. Scotland have improved quite a bit (although it wasn't hard to improve on the turgid shit they played under Andy Robinson). If they can start capitalising on the chances they create then I can see them beating Wales, and certainly challenging Ireland.

I don't think they can. Their only home fixtures are Wales who are on absolutely abysmal form and Scotland, who they would expect to beat home or away. I can't see them beating both England and Ireland away, and they won't win the tournament by losing two games.
