Yeah I think it was fair enough to give the try, hands were going backwards... In Rugby League you would have the 'momentum rule' that covers a situation a situation like that... Not sure about Union but for me it was fine.
I think Australia deserved to win at the end of the day. Wales were fortunate that they were gifted the opening try and that Australia's indiscipline and wasting opportunities kept them in touch and set up a frantic final 15-20 mins.
