The English should thank Worsley for that life saving tackle that barely managed to touch Clerc and lose his balance about 10 minutes from time

that tackle really wasnt mentioned enough in the newspapers

i doubt he has made a more important tackle in his life. it werent just the tackle it was the time of the game it was in. personally i thought at that point of the game it was only a matter of time before they scored a try

That was a crucial moment in the game, we certainly would have been on the way home without it. Sackey made a similarly massive tackle against the Aussies as I remember - making the split second call to hit the man with the ball, rather than drift when they had a 2 man overlap.

Quelle suprise it was Jonny all over the papers, which is a little unfair after a brilliant team performance. JW's kicking might have been off target, but the boy has got some serious nerve when it really matters!
