Good move. Looking forward to seeing how he does under Jose's mate Karanka. Boro have a good side this season, hope he gets loads of playing time.

Boro have the potential to be up there this season so it will be a great experience for the lad.

I live on Teesside and regularly go to see Middlesbrough play (the Wife is a season ticket holder)

I was at the Riverside at the weekend to see them torn to pieces by Sheff Wed.

I have to be honest, I think this is a terrible move for all concerned. He is no better than they already have.

I can only assume he will be used out wide as opposed to just right full back, as they are light on the wings.

It is a great club and opportunity to showcase his ability however, let's hope he does well.

I've only seen him play once (as a sub last year in Europe, I think) and the thing that stuck with me was his pace, he was really quick both with and without the ball, so hopefully as you mention he'll get a run on the wing. Keep us posted :)

He wasn't involved whatsoever at the weekend, but he did sign fairly late on in the week to be fair so no real surprise.

i'm too lazy to c+p but had a look on the boro forum and they were all really impressed with him today(it was his debut).
I went to the game today, and he had a really good game - as did the full team really. The usual right back went off injured midweek so Ryan may well get a prolonged run in the side now, which can only be a good thing.

Their Carling Cup game at Anfield is on Sky on Tuesday so hopefully we will get to see him then.

I have a friend who went yesterday and said he was quick, strong, composed and looked like he had been playing for a long time

Just noticed he scored a penalty but Middlesborough still unfortunately lost.

They're flying at the moment in the championship, hope he continues to start for them.

You already lost the bet (if you can call it that) didn't you?

It's going to be difficult for him with Yedlin coming in and Dier being able to fill in there.

Strange thing is, it looks like we have 3 players at RB (plus another one that can fit in) that fit the system, yet at LB, we only have 1 IMO (I still don't think Davies suits us).

Typical spurs really. lol

I still think he's a shit hot RWr waiting to happen.

Gonna have to go back and see what the terms were of our bet...think I may have been 12months previous. But I was pretty on the ball overall, this boy is a player.

Next season though...next season....;)
