To be honest I think naughton could be our best right back ATM. Walkers going to have to fight hard to take his spot.

You can't disagree with my post over a month after I have written it, put a reason why do not just dis like. Naughton started the season well when I had written my post over a month a go, walker had no return date so why would we sell naughton was my point and replace him with Fredricks?

Harry Kane is his age, and is a far superior player.

It certainly puts things into perspective, but I wouldn't say Harry Kane is far superior. I think both will go on to have good Premier League careers.

Bamford has an outstanding first touch and I have not seen many English players as good as he is in terms of touch and on the ball etc.

But you are right, I am not sure Bamford would have the impact on the EPL that Kane has had and continuing to have

Very inconsistent though

I've seen quite a lot of him this season as I see most Boro games - I certainly wouldn't say he was inconsistent. He is certainly Middlesbrough's best forward.

Future RWr.
Tough to call. Haven't seen much of him but know he has blistering pace; even if Naughton leaves he'll be fighting with Yedlin for second place which concerns me. Does he have the nous to play in the midfield, or will he be like Townsend?

More stable in his decision making than townsend.

This is what people elsewhere are thinking about Yedlin. What's your thoughts on that one, TT?
I was one of the first people elsewhere to suggest this will eventually happen. ;)

I think he'll be a utility player along the right flank, end up a very good Arw option and then be used as an inverted Alw which would be a natural progression in our system.

The obvious defensive advantage of using him in front of Davies at times is that Davies will be able to get forward much much more knowing speedy has got him covered.

Davies' left foot is lethal and we need to utilise it more. We need to use all of our weapons.

Lloris

Walker Faz Verts Davies

Mason Bentaleb

Lamela Eriksen Yedlin

Kane
With lamela's workrate and yedlin's recovery speed our fullbacks would be able to flow freely forward which is still an issue with us as we don't have enough support from them as we too often get done on the counter as a result, so we're cautious with it.

We really need a schneiderlin or matic type CM though. We don't have a proper anchor in front of our CB2 and it's causing us problems.

Fix that and stick yedlin out there as an option and have flying fullbacks all day and we're on our way to being able to play this system properly.

Poch will sort the team properly in the summer though, we just gotta be patient.

In the meantime...Yedlin for Alw. :woot:

You know how it goes, coops...they call me crazy, then it happens, then they're quiet.;)

Just finished watching the Brentford v Boro game. Bit hard to asses as Brentford utterly dominated from the first to last minute and Fredericks wasn't overly involved, certainly not in an attacking sense and defensively they were sat quite deep and Brentford didn't really get down his flank much in an attacking wide kind of way.

Ryan did the 90 in the Charlton 3-1 win on 7/2/15 but was not in the squad for Boro's 2-1 win at Blackpool last Tuesday.

Ryan starts today v Arsenal!

Are we?

I don't think Yedlin will be here next season imo

if fit walker will play then yedlin then fredericks and KWP. 4 young players, also dier and vlad played a lot there.

you think yedlin wil go on loan?
