This time next year he will be sold to real Madrid for £60m plus Modric.
I could handle that I like mason but I loved Modric
i loved Modric too... even more after you realise how important he was now. But i really want Mason to be the one that makes the team tick. We need a new homegrown leader on the pitch, and he can do that if he continues to develop. Doesnt need to be world class, just be able to lead by example, and more importantly, inspire the youth team.
They both play same position. They can be compared. Nobody is saying he world class but no reason he can't do the same role, this can be compared.Comparing Mason to Modric...not sure if srs...

He can't do the same role though can he? Luka Modric was and is on a different planet to Mason, and indeed most players in terms of balance, ability to keep the ball and ability to pass it. The only people that can do the same role are players of comparable ability in it.
