Get well soon Ryan. Tidy wee player who put a shift in every single game. Eye for goal too.

Could still result in paralysis, God forbid. Took care of a patient today with a similar injury to Ryan

That's really irresponsible from the Mirror. Not that we should be surprised.

Club says he's stable. Hope that is the case and he recovers quickly.

Best wishes to him, hope he'll get well and be back on the pitch soon. Maybe sing him a "get well" song next week...

If his playing days are over I will be extremely sad for him. I wish him a full recovery and happy life. it would be nice if either the BBC, Sky Sports or BT sport offer him some sort of role. he is such a nice smart, genuine lad and would probably make a great pundit.

Get well soon Ryan. You helped bring the pride back to the shirt at the start of the Pochettino era.

Devastating news for him, I really hope he recovers fully. This is so sad. Not that I wish this kind of injury (or any kind) on anyone, but it's especially cruel on him considering the tenacity he showed against the odds to finally make it as a premier league player.

Absolutely gives 100% no matter who's shirt he pulls on, but he'll always be a Yid at heart.

Love the guy to pieces, get well soon Ryan.

I think many of you could be catastrophising here. Fractures of the skull very often involve no damage to brain tissue even when some blood vessels are damaged or ruptured.

I have a real affection for Ryan and I'm sure he'll be fine. Like us all, I wish him well.

Sincere best wishes to one of our own, i hope he makes the fullest of recoveries.

They seemed to be suggesting this morning he would be leaving hospital in the next few days, but it wasn't clear whether that meant he was just being moved to a hospital back nearer Hull or actually sent home? I assume the former.

Ryan Mason, he's one of our own.

The BBC Sport have a list of the well-wishing from other players/teams (including from Arsenal) - nice to see. As much as we lose our shit every weekend, there's a lot more important than football.
