I really don't want to relegate Hull. Hope they win this weekend and Swansea lose both their matches. Siggy will join someone else whatever happens and Carroll would probably benefit from a year in the championship so I'm not too worried about them, but to relegate Dawson, Huddlestone and Mason would be sad.

Hope you can almost fully recover Ryan.

My daughter had a head injury, causing a grade 2 IVH, amongst many other things, we gave her colloidal calcium phosphate as part of her nutritional recovery program.

Min-Col from Daily Manufacturing.

She also loves Lecithin, which 1/3 of the brain is made of (helps neuroplasticity etcetera), though her memory is still iffy!

She has recovered with no significant long term damage apparent, touch wood.

Quote by Ryan

'The closer we got to the hospital, the more the pain started to subside. It was quite strange. And then I had this out-of-body experience. It may have been just after I came out of the scan and became unresponsive. But I was looking down at myself, running up this grassy hill with Rachel, two kids and a dog.'

Morphine is fantastic...

Not knowing anything about this specific case but based on head trauma in general; one thing would be to get back to fitness and technically be fine kicking a ball. A whole other question would be "what if". What if his head takes another beating in a match down the line. He could theoretically risk his life every time he plays.

I can run through it now for you if you like.

‘That must have really hurt’
‘You look great’
‘Thanks for talking to us Ryan’
‘My good friend Ryan Mason there taking time out to talk to us’
‘Farhad Moshiri’

Saw him on the debate last night. Was slightly surprised how he responded when asked about winks. There Defo seemed a hint of “Well he ain’t any better than me”although he obviously didn’t say that ,but that was the vibe I got.Which is fair enough, winks 4 years younger than him.He probably still thinks what might have been.

In fairness, Mason would probably be close to the squad looking at the other players that are in and around it.

I love Ryan Mason and wish him the best in his recovery. He was the first proper Poch player at Spurs. His goal vs Nottingham was the first real step towards us becoming what we are now. Winks is a much better player though, especially considering their relative ages.

Winks is a much better player than Mason with a far higher ceiling though.

Definitely more potential with hindsight but when Mason was coming through he was viewed as an excellent prospect with flair and workrate, probably more-so than Winks, however injuries hindered him in his early 20's and particularly his latest mean he's unlikely to hit the heights his early promise showed.

Just heard him on Talk Sport and comes across as a really articulate and humble lad, who loves Spurs.
