If we were signing him this season then I'm sure we would have made sure he didn't get cup-tied for rotational purposes. To me this now looks like he will be loaned back should we sign him

I'd say it's a secure him now but keep Rose for one more year and then take him next summer when Danny eventually leaves to go and get what he's worth - the ****.

A Dele-style buy & loan back? Guess that could work. Thing is, I really don't see Rose staying. Yes we've had the 'apology' but who knows if his attitude has changed?

Now Utd are showing serious interest I don't think he'll be coming to us, especiallywith the wages they will offer him compared to us.

If we're spending about £28m on him I can't see us loaning him back out. Keep him and Sancho around to play together like thunder buddies for life. They could be the next Dier and Alli.

Not sure I agree with that. He's obviously not a total mug and has done Fulham a big favour by signing a contract with them.

At 17, I doubt maxing out his near term wages will be his highest priority. Surely he'll go where he thinks he'll play and get coached best. That he'd be able to stay in London would be a further bonus.

I think we'd stack up well in most of those categories. Sure, if they decided to spend something stupid on him then maybe, but I doubt they'd be that aggressive.

IIRC he previously turned down Liverpool because he wanted to stay in London. Hopefully that attitude hasn't changed.

There have been some articles saying today that Utd believe he wants to sign for Spurs if he leaves Fulham.

Trying to be as unbiased as possible but I think if I was a young English player it would always have gone spurs as long as living in London wasn't an issue .

Just being surrounded by that young English core somewhat guarantees you'll get noticed by the national team , and you'd want to be seen in the same light as Dele and Kane
Or perhaps I'm as delusional as pool supporter
